LCA is a very good team.They have alot of team speed and it is hard to get to the corners on them. They also have a good kicker that puts the ball in the end zone about every time that makes it hard for a team.They just out played the Rams tonight and they was alot better team,like it has been said before we was playing with reserve players not to take anything away from LCA they played a great game tonight and I think that Raceland would like to see them again down the road in the playoffs.All the reserve players that played is only going to make this Raceland team better down the road.

Mason wins big and stays unbeaten in district play and is waiting for the big game coming up with Russell Oct 19.

I think this game will be alot closer than most of you think. If any of you watched the Mason and East game you would know that East shot themselves in the foot from the get go. Not saying that Mason would not have beaten East anyway, you just cant turn the football over that many times on you side of the field and expect it to even be close. I think this Russell game you will see a much closer game.:thumb:

East better use ball control and try and keep Russell off the field, but Russell can score from both sides of the ball if East turns it over it will be a long night for the Raiders so I am going with Russell in a close game.

There is some schools that will not have contact during the season after the first game and that away the players have a chance to heel, but I think the players need to get rest if they are hurt. They also need to hit so the body will be use to the punishment.

I am leaning towards Greenup County. They need to come together and good things will happen. Maybe a team only meeting and let things out what needs to be said and done to help the team.

Raceland has alot of players injured. This lead to the 2nd half meltdown the rams suffered against East Carter. Lets hope the rams dont suffer the same fate as they did against the raiders.

Yes it was started out like a track meet. Then both teams played a little defense in the 2nd quarter. Then both teams scored in the 3rd and 4th quarters over all very exciting game. The first injury was or at least looked pretty bad.

I was wondering how the young men from Rowan County is doing the ones that had leg injuries. It look like the first one was really bad hope it was not to serious and the other one is alright also.

Of course, you do. I saw a young player making some big tackles on special teams, and he had a punt return, as well. I think that player was Bobby Mckee.

Not that reason they kept the Eagles pretty much deep all night special team made them go 60-80 yards for a score and the defense did the job most of the time.

How did your team do today.

I thought special teams was big in the game with Sparks kicking and punting along with the coverage of both good game coaches/players.

East runs the ball mostly but throws once in a while,so you will not just key on the run.I have not seen Mason County play this year but what I am hearing this should be a good ball game.

Good game East Carter. The coaching staff for East was well prepaired for this game hats off to the Raiders good game. The Rams better be ready for the Eagles coming in next friday it's a big big so they should be up for this one.

You should be able to pick it up on WUGO 102.3 out of Grayson.

The radio station should at least check and see if the Russell game is on another station then 102.3 would not be doing the same game I guess that would make to much sense.

Apparently everyone in the Raceland/Worthington area has a bluegrasspreps account. Surely it isn't bulletin board material, considering most who post have no affiliation with the above mentioned programs, at least I would hope they don't. I have noticed that when Raceland is winning in any sport there are lots of Ram fans on here. I also noticed that when they lose (ex: East Carter in baseball the last few years) there is very little mention of the game. In fact they turn to the JV game that they won to have something to discuss. That being said I believe Raceland will win this game, but i am afraid it might be the same old story come playoff time.........NKY and done! I hope I am wrong.

I have been a member for a few months and I always give give credit where credit is due. Raceland has had several good teams in various sports the past few years. The community and fans have always supported them and are very proud of them. I , personally , have supported other local teams that has done well. I may root louder for some than others but still I do support most local teams that advance in their sports. Point in case : Russell in football... Greenup in baseball ..

I also remember seeing fans from Boyd County and Greenup at the State Championship games. I'm sure there were other supporters from other schools in the region there too.
