The reason county didnt hit that well is cause Hills pitcher is good and did a good job against them. Also the reason they scored that much is because of the youth that was showed in the 5th inning when hills had some errors not because county did a good job hitting hills gave them those runs they didnt earn them.

This was a good game one bad inning determined the game. County was up 3-2 in the bottom of the 5th and then hills showed alittle of their youth that inning having a couple of errors in that inning and county scoring 3 runs off those errors and a couple of hits. But hills didnt give up being down by 4 scoring one run in the 7th before county got the final out. County is a good team and Hills showed they can be, one inning kept this from being a one run game or a Hills win. But take nothing away from county they did wat they had to to win congrats to them and it was a good game, Lastly goodjob pitching for both teams outstanding pitching for the sophmore for hills and senior for county good pitching by both.

After the first inning Hills put their head down and never recovered thats the bottom line and they had a bad game at the wrong time.

There are 3 main teams and one surprising team in the 43rd district that could go to regionals. Franklin county has two outstanding pitchers in chris cushionberry and evan bell and are solid all around. Woodford is decent at hitting and has okay pitching but isnt a very good fielding team but has a junior and senior team that is full of experience. WHHS is young but full of talent with a potentially strong hitting club and decent pitching most of the time but is young full of sophmores who dont have much experience . High is really really young they got some potential and have chances of beating teams when deanglo is on but when he isnt they really dont stand a chance against most these other teams because of how young they are. I think the two teams that will make it are going to be FCHS and WHHS from this district as i think hills is starting to jell and will be strong at the end of the season.

But how will they do at the pro's if they get drafted?

Whats reveres average? Also wouldnt they be close to being even due to the fact that witten is such an excelent pitcher.

I agree that dunbar will win it but i think Lexington Catholic, Paul Dunbar, Madison Central, Madison Southern, Henry Clay, Brian Station, Franklin County, and Western Hills will make it also.

Their a solid team they hit the ball really well they beat Hills by 11 when they played them but our pitchers served the ball up giving up 6 homeruns in the game but goodluck.

I agree but Hills is on a roll while woodford isnt doing good at all losing 5 of their last 6 games while hills has won 4 out of their last 5. I think Hills will pull this out at their place.

Actually it wasnt a coach it was a parent and if you know so much about the Hills summer team then you would know we only have 8 players interested in the summer team due to football and basketball stuff and as i would hope you know that 8 isnt enough people for a baseball team.

Woodford plays at Hills on Monday woodford won last time by a walk off 2 run home run. Look for Hills to be ready to play and get revenge.

Western Hills High School sophmores and freshman are better than harrisons countys.

First off he was asking him that because Hills wont have enough kids to make a full team and wanted to know since we wouldnt have enough if he was interested cause hills would have to use some of highs players. Second it wasnt hills coaches i talked to about his arm. Lastly High played their best game of the season while hills played one of their worst which is why it was a close game, which if i do recall u saying that teams have good nights and bad nights and hills had a bad one while high had a good one.

Well as much as hes pitched already and if he keeps it up then he has a huge risk injuring his arm and multiple coaches ive tlked to agree with me. Also this is 41st district young arms which harrison county is not in and harrison county young arms are not better than whhs sophmores.

The only problem with deanglo is that his coach pitches him way to much. He is only in 8th grade and has already pitched abunch this season there coach needs to watch his arm cause as much as he uses deanglo the kids arm could easily get hurt.

Hills Hunter Fry and Jordan Queen are both sophmores while High's Deanglo is a 8th grader.

Whhs bats came alive again late losing 6-1 going into the bottom of the 6th where they turned into a 6-4 ballgame. In the bottom of the 7th inning, hills tied it up and with the bases loaded and 2 outs and an 0-2 count a sophmore came through with a clutch walk off grand slam to give hills its 3rd win in a row and a 10-6 victory over a tough south oldham team.

Who are the top young pitchers in the 41st district, you have Jordan Queen and Hunter Fry for hills and Tyler Deanglo for High are all ive seen but what do you all think?

No county is without about 10 players all varsity for 2 games due to an off the field innicident and then one player is out for about 2 weeks.

Alot of rumors are flying around about suspensions that this baseball team has had with a majority of the players on varsity, If anyone knows anything official that has happened reply to this post.

Hills had an off game against henry and east jessamine beat hills in the opening game of the season at east in which hills had 8 players starting that had never started a varsity game and everysingle one of thoose players had basicly no experience on the varsity level so that loss was a fluke do to the nervousness of those players and 5 were sophmores 1 junior and 2 seniors and only one of those seniors started last year. Hills 2 and woodford 3.

First of all Frankfort will be last by far at the end of the season and woodford will be 3rd and Hills will be 2nd cause by then the talent they have and inexperience with all the sophomores that are starting will be matured and much better than woodford, and county will be number1.

Ok so then hills beat a better team then what hills should have played and hills dominated.
