What about the defensive game Elliotts # 5 John Morgan played against Selby! Giving up 75 pounds or more to Selby ! He just simply battled him. Gutsy job but young # 5 !

The game earlier this year was Elliotts worst shooting night of the year ! They had open looks but just would not go down. If they get these same looks & hit just a little better % it could be over before the 4th Q

Just for the fun of it compare this score to the Russell - Lewis score. Does it say anything about Ashland @ this time or even more about Russell at this time without Vanhoose??

Coach Pratt will have to be the MVP in this game "with his game plan & strategic moves during the game" if his Lions are to pull it off. Otherwise without an effective game plan & him making the key moves throughout the game the Elliott Lions will pull it out with better talent.

Matt is a great kid from a great family, I know he & his parents well from his days here in Scott Co & they are tremendous people. I did not realize he had stayed back a grade as I thought he truly was a Jr this year. Unfortunately there is another kid here in Scott Co who will be a Sr next year & he is having the same problem as he will not get to play next year. Everyone knows the same thing happened to Rodney Haddix this year. I am sure there are others throughout the state getting hit hard by this rule. Keep your head up Matt & best of luck

Maybe, but I doubt they could put 3 in a row against the teams they have to play to get to Rupp !

Russell does have an excellent defense but you still have to score more than the other team to win & this will be where they hit the wall against a good team. The 3 factors to play into this are: 1.the offensive system doesn't allow for much scoring 2.no one or two players to take control in the 4th Quarter against a good team as Vanhoose does 3.simply put "No Vanhoose"

If Blair is limited you almost have to start liking Lewis Counties chances even more. If Blair does not play Russell can still win so I will still go with Russell.

Are you saying that because you do not think Station will make it to the regional finals? Win or lose District finals I have to say Scott Co will be there

JBS has 2 great shooters in Clint Stepp & Tate Cox & a 6'8'" big man in Garrison Collins that should be used better & if so IMO they would be a much better team.
