  1. Haha, I'm not a parent but I do have alot of friends that have came through the Viking program. I guess I just hear everything that they have to say.
  2. While I agree with this statement: "If you have seen games in the Lexington area, meaning the 11th Region, they have always played a much more physical style of play (no blood no foul) and more and more Regions are turning to that style." I'll have to say that they can't hold a candle to how rough life is in the 15th region!
  3. What does this have to do with anything? I don't judge coaches on appearances at Rupp. I think he is blessed to take a team to Rupp once. What I judge them on is getting the most out of the talent they are given. That hasn't been the case at Rowan for a long time now. Also, there are some other matters that can't be discussed on this website that I have a lot of problems with, as well. Oh, and don't get me wrong about Daniel. I think he's a great kid and a very good player. I just think his game is better suited for the NAIA level. That's just my opinion.
  4. I agree. If a player at least goes after the ball then its just part of the game. If a player runs into the opponent's legs or something dirty, then it should be an intentional foul. Hard fouls are part of the NBA and college as well.
  5. I am pretty close the Rowan program and I promise you that it has came up short too many times. That is my opinion.
  6. 1) I agree that it would be hard to coach your own son 2) Daniel is a nice NAIA prospect 3) I'm not basing a coaching change on this season, I'm basing it on the years of coming up empty
  7. I think it sounds like an idea, as well. I've heard nothing but complaints about the current setup. Its time for a change.
  8. This seems like a huge upset, IMO also. I think Rowan needs a new coach and a new system.
  9. Do these teams meet again in the districts?
  10. How in the world did this happen?
  11. I agree with you CathMeIfYouCan. All I heard was how great Breathitt was and how they'd beat JBS and the others. Doesn't seem to be the case. JBS is a little different than that team they beat by 1,000 points earlier this season!
  12. I'd say he'll take a point a minute and a WIN.
  13. I Love it when Paintsville loses. Go Eagles!
  14. Actually, I don't think I posted anything about a district preview, but I did say Boyd would win. Either way, good win for Rose Hill.
  15. What are the district matchups? Was this a preview game?
  16. I say Boyd wins this one - 60-54.
  17. Not sure what happened, but I did notice that Furman wasn't in the line score. Did she play or is she still suspended?
  18. Sounds like a typical tough district road game. Elliott and West are pretty big rivals if I'm not mistaken.
  19. Don't step too far out on the limb or anything.
