Two months in now. The only good news is I can ride my horses again. Walking is another matter. I still have inflammation and swelling in the knee so the therapy and exercise is almost counterproductive. I am not back to a level of pain and mobility I had before surgery which is very disheartening. What’s frustrating is that it has stabilized at this level. I have read where it is really six months to approach normal...so I’ll hop on my horse and keep working for that.

Carrying diseases and destroying other populations of animals is not a matter of inconvenience.
We indiscriminately kill their predators as well. Overpopulation of cats is a problem but spay and neuter helps a lot.

A little over six years....had our 39th anniversary in July. She looks way younger though...

Depending where you are they won't. We went through something similar, and they would capture them, clip their ears, fix them, AND RETURN THEM. It was ridiculous.
The TNR programs I am aware of will only do this if there is a caretaker.

Just kill everything that’s inconvenient....that’s man’s way.

I have to see this! I love Dave Chappelle.

Let us know what you think. Sounds interesting.
Will do....there are four books so far in the series. I only just started the first one, but ok so far.

For many years, I had nightmares where I had only a class left to finish my Masters, but I was late to the classroom, couldn't find the classroom, etc. and completion was in limbo. I achieved my Masters working full time, at night, with a family, and it was a very stressful time. I also have recurring nightmares that I still work at various companies from my career, and I have a meeting, or I am starting over there etc. Lastly, I have golf nightmare, where I am playing in a tournament or something like that, and I am preparing for my shot, but for whatever reason, I cannot get in a swing and hit the shot, and people are waiting. Maybe I just remember the nightmares.
I am not on drugs.

OK...not going to do book covers, however, I have read a bit:
Traveller by Richard Adams Traveller was Robert E. Lee's horse, and the book is a view of the civil war viewed from the general's horse's perspective.
Watership Down also by Richard Adams (again, I first read this book 40 years ago...it is my all time favorite book.)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (also a re-read) J.P. Rowling...the Harry Potter finale of course.
and I just started book 1 of the Bluegrass Files,Down the Rabbit Hole, which is a detective/mystery series written by a local writer, F. J. Messina, all set in the Lexington area.

We saw The Art of Racing in the Rain today. I had read the book and liked it, and I was not disappointed by the movie.

This series grew on us as it progressed. Now we are hoping for a season 2.

Denzel Washington...met him and hung out a bit in LA while our sons were playing AAU basketball. Great guy.

This is brutal. I’d get kicked off BGP if I expressed how I really felt.

Just now saw this. I pray everything went well yesterday @doomer.
Thanks! The Doc said my knee was a mess, but he thinks I’ll be happy with the outcome. Unfortunately, the oral pain meds make me sick and heaving all night. I’m ready for that part to end!

Today is the day. I’m sitting on my hospital bed...already drugged up to some degree...with surgery to be in about an hour. I’m not looking forward to it, but it should help in the long term. Thanks again for the advice, and I’ll be happy to get this over with...eventually.

Prayers and my condolences.

Good win for the US. I saw something interesting though... after Pulisic’s first goal, the US defender with the blonde beard put his am around Pulisic, and he ducked out of it like an MMA fighter. Are there personal issues on this team?
-
One factor for the US is whomever they play next will have one day’s less rest.
-
USA plays again Sunday 11 am ET. USA can use this 5 Day rest.
Hopefully the damage isn’t done already...three starters with hamstring injuries.
-
Great win for the US against a tough England side. It is difficult to watch when the US sinks back to the defensive mode, but I guess it’s “just win baby”.

The ref finally got it right! Red card shown.
