24 Team Playoff
47 Bowl Games last year is a significant amount more than the 23 played in the CFP in a 24 team tournament. CFP Average Score last year was 34.0 - 17.45 Bowl Game Average Score last year was 32.5 - 19.1 So typical bowl game had closer games than the playoffs between the 12 best teams. I fully support expanded playoffs. However I throughly enjoy a game like N Texas and San Diego St going 49-47 or South Carolina St 40-38 over Praire View. There will always be some bad games, but there are several great games played each year that would disappear if bowl games were completely eliminated.

College Football General Discussion (Week 8)
Alabama is just ridiculously bad today...that fumble because the guard stepped on the QB's foot just another unforced error. Tennessee isn't great, but they are better than what Alabama has shown. Also, Georgia! What the heck?

College Football General Discussion (Week 8)
Can't put it all on Arch, O-line isn't good, defense gives up big plays. I think Sark's seat may start to heat up a bit...and it should.

Arch, Arch, Arch...can't take a sack there. Definitely can't take a strip sack. I can't imagine the pressure on that kid, but dang it sure hasn't gone as planned for him.

24 Team Playoff
I look at it this way, we have a 16 team playoff (which most everyone favors) and then throw in the next 8 schools that would have been whining the loudest if they didn't get in. Everyone after 16 just needs to be happy they are in and whomever the 25th school is needs to just zip it.
