It is always played at Conner and last year's Senior class said the Lord's prayer at their graduation without the Admin's knowledge....they all stood and said it without permission since things like that are "not allowed" in public schools....but they should be and maybe our schools would be much stronger!

I will agree with you ex, in that, in one of my previous posts I asked, if the overall officiating was as bad as I was seeing on both sides of the ball and at all levels this year!

I was at the game and did not see what you are talking about at all.

Conner/SK next week...could be the tablesetter

Conner vs Highlands.......won by Highlands 14-12 with Conner coming up 6 inches short on a two point extra point with :37 left in the game. Good game by both clubs!

I think Dixie will win this game. I think fans, not just Conner fans, are getting broken legs jumping off of a bandwagon that was totally full for two straight undefeated seasons 18 months ago in Hebron. Wake up people, there are cycles and we happen to be in a down turn for the time being. That does not mean we give up on the kids, the coaches or each other! Now is the time to show your pride in any program and help the rebuilding process for the future and to help the seniors remember the support from the fans. The seniors last year went through a rough year and the win over Boone at Boone and the support they had from the fans made such an impression that the players talked about it and cheered the fans after the game. People need to remember, you can make such a difference in someone's life and you may never know. Those are the things we will be judged on later in life. Cheer for your team, through thick or thin and that will help with a win in the real meaning of life!

Game of the week....Conner at Highlands....Thursday!

Has anyone heard anything about today's match-up? The game was supposed to start at 2pm.

Conner beat Ryle tonight 7-0. It was an ugly game. Conner moved the ball well at times but Ryle could not move the ball at all. I know this is going to be beating a very dead horse but has the officiating been as bad at all games and at all levels this year more so than other years? Very poorly called games on both sides and calls that make no sense at all...thoughts????

I think the Conner/ Ryle game should be an interesting test for both teams!
