  1. I can't imagine that Walker would be drafted in the 2007 draft.
  2. I agree with you that in 4A there is a large disparity between the biggest and smallest. Much of this (unlike 2A this is by definintion because every school above a certain threshold is lumped together). However, in your 4A comparison you took one of the largest schools and compared it to one of the smallest. In your 2A example you took the new Mercer and compared it to other schools at the top of the class. Why don't you compare Mercer to CAL or one of the other small 2A schools and then argue your point.
  3. I am not sure whether I like the new set up or not, but I find the whining by the Manual faithful to be comical. There is a reason it is the big three instead of the big four.
  4. Since we have heard the words "level playing field" every day for the past 6 months.... Is there any playing field any more unlevel than for the AA schools that have to play Mercer?
  5. So you believe in teaching a young person the "tough" lesson of competition and that he might not be good enough, but you don't believe in teams and maybe more importantly COACHES (who seem to be driving every stupid proposal in this state) realizing that they might not be good enough?
  6. So competing with Trinity and X is more important than giving significant numbers of young people the experience of playing football? This is one of the worst ideas I have heard of.
