Did you totally skip over his post? Essentially, Mason had more rest then Warren Central. And in some peoples opinions played harder competition later in the tournament (Cov. Cath).

On the basis that if you take Chris Lofton off that team they really were not as great as everyone made them out to be. You take one player out of the Warren Central line up and they still had a pretty good team. 4 overtimes... yada yada yada. Had they beaten teams like they were supposed too (such as Warren Central did), then they wouldn't have had to worry about 4 OT's. And again... Wes Jones playing in the championship game... All that would've meant is that Dewalt would've had a few more blocks added to his stat total.

If Wes Jones had of played in the '04 state game then Dewalt would've added a few more blocks to the stat count...

Lions fans can take their time... But if the rest of the crowd would like to discuss how they'll do next year I don't see an issue with talking about it now. As far as how EC will do next year, who will be able to compete with them in the 16th? EC loses alot, but does anyone else bring any fire power to challenge them again?

I can't of too many people on that list that could've handled Antwan Barbour in his HS prime. Of course I have 4th region bias, so I'm going to go ahead and mention Lonnell Dewalt and being one of the greats. He didn't always score a ton, but he was a defensive guru. He was great at altering shots.

I'd look for Glasgow to have a better year. (It couldn't get any worse). I expect Coach Rick Wood to bring Glasgow back to the top.

I still say '04 Dub-C is on up there... I'm confident they would've shut down that '03 Mason squad. :popcorn:
