Sounds like Clay county sure grows some tall players.Are they hold backs for sports? Just wondering?

I hope getting Burchett back will help South,just hoping they can stay injury free this year.

I believe that the correct name for the Junior League is Laurel Co. It seems like all the North fans forget that the team includes some girls from South Laurel. I sure hope that they dont receive North Laurel letterman jackets again this year because to me it was really an insult to the South Laurel girls.But I guess it was a cheap way for North Laurel to get their girls letterman jackets without having to pay for them. :creepy: I also want to say that there was some great umps working the tournamnet even the Times Tribune commented on them. It's really sad that NLL would have bad umps who are from North Laurel officating these games and giving anyone who played against South the calls.Sorry about your luck 9-10 year olds the ump behind the plate made a terrible call and totally gave the MOmentum to Russell.IT WAS FORCE OUT!!!!

Clay did play a good game and Gilbert is a great player.I just wish it could have been played on a neutral floor.We're all proud of you Lady Cards!!!!

I am not blamiing it all on the referees Corbin was by far the better team and they play well together. There doesnt seem to be a selfish player on the team.They are a very well coached team.I just heard Clouse say on Wymt that Coach Parsons said it was their home floor and they should be the ones to cut the nets down.I think she really did a good job of motivating them tonight and getting them ready to play. I just felt like there were a few calls that were from behind the play and I wasn't the only one that thought so,from the reaction of the SL crowd. Corbin was the better team and I guess I sounded like a sore loser and I am sorry. As for pulling the starters I meant it would have been nice for her to pull them with 10 or so seconds left for them to get the recognition that they deserved as the game was coming to an end. Good luck 13th region!!

Congratulation Lady Hounds your team did play a good game.I do feel like the referring was a bit one sided tonight.The referee Ashhurst had no business calling a district game when he lives in Corbin,because he has made it known that he does not like Coach Snyder. I really think it was bad judgement on Coach Parsons not o pull her starters with a 10 pt. lead and let them get the standing ovation that they deserved for winning the district.
