  1. The immature thing about all of this is, Richardson, Amburgey and Christian were held back so Carr Creek would have a chance to win the county tournament
  2. I had no idea this Dude was from KCC. If it up sets him so much , why didn't he go watch JC beat KCC. You think that would have made him happier.
  3. Stepp, Cox and Collins have been there all their school years. Who are you talking about coming in?
  4. Maybe you. He implied that the refs were one sided. What does that mean to you?
  5. Maybe you should go back and read it. Sounds like a "refs took the game " to me. I heard some one from the AC side hollar "He just fell by his self" as one of JBS boys flew up in the air and hit the floor with a thud. I Don't think you have to worry about them not playing hard.
  6. Like Allen Central hasn't been beat this year until they ran up on JBS. Like "The Stepps "had to get the refs on their side to win this one. I respect Allen Central. They never give up, and you are not making them look very good.
  7. JBS has just played in the Berea Tournament , winning 3 games and coming in third, with Cox and Stepp making the all tournament team. Not too shabby. JBS beat Fleming Co., Mongomery Co. and Berea and Henry Clay beat JBS but is wasn't a lose to be ashamed of.
  8. Amburgey, Richardson and Christian were held back in the 8th. They played in the county tournament twice as 8th graders. The first 8th grade year they were demoted towards the end of the year to the 7th, and then promoted back into the 8th grade for the next year. Wouldn't matter about Stamper and Spencer if it was 4th or 7th. They would still be elgible.
  9. I think that tournament was the reason for the 8th grade hold backs.
  10. Collins wasn't held back unless it was in the very early years. I know they held Richardson, Amburgy, and Christian back in the 8th grade. Your right every body does it. Most do it before the 8th grade.
  11. Its true. Stamper and Spencer are 8th graders and the rest are Freshmen this year. I don't know if Christian plays anymore .
  12. Its true. Stamper and Spencer are 8th graders and the rest are Freshmen this year. I don't know if Christian plays anymore .
  13. Hicks has always been good and just continues to improve. Just a born talent.
  14. Cox is eligible to play all 4 years of high school. He is not the only kid in Knott Co. that was held back in the 7th grade. I believe there were some 8th graders held back in the 8th grade 2 years. Richardson. Amburgy, and Christian were 8th graders held back in the 8th for another year, and Stamper and Spencer held back in the 7th the same year.
  15. who said this, and what does it have to do with the thread? At least it is a shorter post, should be thankful for that.
  16. All of your posts are sarcastic. Go back and read them.
  17. I think what you said , you shouldn't have to apologize for. You have a right to your opinion. This was a JBS thread. The subject got way off track. I don't think you were knocking any body else.
  18. I know that South Laurel is considered a mountain team. I am glad that they are. It makes our mountain teams look better. I was not the one who made the remark about JBS guards being the best pair in the mountains. They are very good to be an 8th grader and a sophmore. You just jumped on someones remark with almost anger, and I am sure they weren't trying to compare JBS with South Laurel. JBS played a great tournament and it is ashame not to give them a little credit for a third place finish. The guards , Cox and Stepp made the all tournament team. Why would you even bring SL into it. It was just some one happy with a good tournament.
