  1. 1:57 left till start of second half
  2. Team stats CC - 12 runs 73 yards, 13 passes 114 yards JC - 221 yards total all but about 30 on the ground Grim 18 carries 130 yards
  3. Radio just said about 8000 people at game
  4. Nice breakdown of CovCath. It's ok to be biased. I respect your opinion of you thinking they will jusr run all over JC but I believe that's where knowledge of both teams should come in to play. JC doesn't have the leading defensive back in interceptions by accident.(Ian Welch Sophomore Safety 14 INTS). They don't have a D-I linebacker and 2 all-state linebackers by accident either.(Johnson and Tackett). This will be one of the quickest and most physical teams CovCath has played all year bar none. JC may not get the credit they deserve because the're stuck in the hills but come Friday night at 7:30 PM at The Nest, these northerners will find out quick how good these boys really are.
  5. Central in the biggest upset of the playoffs(JC over CC is not as big as this one) Central 38 Bowling Green 32
  6. This should be a dandy! Both teams are very good at what they do. Cov Cath with the passing game and JC with the ground game. From what I've heard, CovCath runs a 3-3-5 stack defense similar to West Virginia's defense. If this is the case, I look for JC to have success on the ground as they've done all year. 3 down lineman are not enough to stop Grimm and his blockers. JC-35 CC-24
  7. This game is @ Johnson Central Should be a helluva game
  8. Venue: Golden Eagle Field House Date: Nov. 11th, 2006 Time: 7:30 p.m. They also will have their 15th region championship rings and the unveiling their picture at 6:30 p.m. I do believe
  9. I know it's a preseason scrimmage...who will be there to watch?...and how does Portsmouth Clay look?
  10. Highlands 28 Cov Cath 27 In an overtime thriller
  11. Sorry Tomcat69...I should give more credit where credit is due. My boys did play an excellent game more so than a good game. If JC does limit their penalties and mistakes, it will be a long night for Ashland again. No skin off Ashland's nose, they have a good football just not the caliber of JC
  12. As for that quote, Jc didn't play a nearly perfect game. Turnovers and stupid penalties (blocks in the back) brought one touchdown back I know of. But to say JC played a perfect game is not true. They played a good game but not a near-perfect game
  13. JC 49 Ashland 7 Too much Shawn Grimm and the rest of the running crew' Defense is dominate as always
  14. JC 56 BC 6 Remember last time, Boyd County didn't score an offense touchdown Kick Return and a fumble recovery for a touchdown put points on the board for BC...Look for JC to value the ball a little more in the game(s) to come.
