I personally think that Lee would rather Owsley get the 3 seed rather than than the 4 seed. Owsley with Robert is way more dangerous than Powell on any day

I will have to say from my 3rd row seat i thought that Lee played the worst ball they had played since the first half of the Letcher Central Game. They couldn't get hardly any shots to fall in the first 3 quaters. I thought that played a little like they were scared of PCC, they are gonna have to get over that if they want to win the region, which I KNOW they can. Lee is a good good team they just didn't play like it last night.

None taken because in the 14th the regional championship is our State title. We know that there isnt a 14th team that has a chance in state but it doesn't mean the kids don't give all they have because all of them would give anything to take the floor at Rupp arena

Anyone who says PCC by more than 15+ does not know much about Basketball in the 14th. Lee is a good team but they need to win tomorrow to prove that they belong where a lot of people would like to put them, near the top. You can't go into this one thinking you are going to get bad calls if you are Lee, because if you do that you will have no believe that you can win. Believe me when I say this Lee can win and would win at Lee, but will they win on the road? It's time to prove the Bobcats belong at the top, they will and they do. Lee 69 PCC 65

No, MW, this was a blowout the entire game. Leslie is a solid solid team

I watched Leslie play tonight at Owsley....they are tough....they have great size and amazingly good speed to go with that size. I feel like that Leslie is the best team in the region but you can not say that Lee would or would not beat Leslie. Like ronniethepopular said Lee can go 9 deep, which is very important come March. I feel like PCC has a solid team as does LCC and JBS. It will be interesting no matter what in March...sixtyfeet don't be handing out the trophy just yet my friend.

But the talent potenial of a school with 300 is so much less than a PCC or LCC with 900+

I didn't see him give it up to his teammates too often....I did see him take over 3/4 of Wolfe's shots......

They may still be the team to beat as far as talent but performance to this point does not dictate being number 1

They play very tough teams??? Of the teams they have beat none of them have a winning record and their combined record is 16-29...I wouldn't call that very tough.

I think that at this point people care if they start well or not and it does have a large effect on the teams attitude. They are playing great and believe in themselves finally. I think that most if not all contributes to Coach Wright, especially the attitude change. But, let me ask you something if they finish in the Final Four and/or Win The National Championship will the UK fans honestly care if they beat Nike Elite or not???

I am completly with you that Lee is much better this year and Coach Wright has done a good job but EARLE makes a few good points.....you have to win in March to gain a lot of respect.

Earle, you make some good points and some that are a little incorrect. I completly agree with you that all of these games that are going on in December-Febuary are just practice for March. But as far as them being 10-12 points better than Owsley last year....I think that Owsley was a better team than Lee last year...but regardless I agree that it doesn't really matter how you start is how you finish.
