  1. Long Drive + Gas Prices + College Budget + Midterms = No Chance Count on it Thursday though, I'll be there to see the boys in Orange and Black take on the boys in Blue and White.
  2. Taken probably form our slogan after winning last year (From the River to the Region), or just from the fact that the school is very close to the Ohio River... the sign stated something like "Send them back to the RIVER"
  3. I was hoping they'd wait. After seeing the UK football game where they decided to dump the Gatorade on the coach.. then follow that up by losing, I couldn't help but start shaking.
  4. My heart goes out to Englert. I know how tough it is to miss a game during your final year, but I do not know how it feels to miss the biggest game of your career. I hate to see this happen to such a great guy. With that said, I would like to congratulate the Panthers on their success.
  5. Do they clear the gym between boys and girls district games, I don't think so, but I'm making sure.
  6. I'll be making that same drive and Likely helping lead the Cheering section. Some people never graduate.
  7. Why are you attacking the rest of the teams in the area? All I was doing was speaking from experience. I saw how it went when we were overlooked, no now I (along with everyone in Lewis, Fleming, Bracken and Robertson Counties) hate Mason? My apologies littleroyal.
  8. They were out because they fouled, not because they were letting their second string get some tourney time. Fouling is still part of how they played when they overlooked Augusta.
  9. Where does this questioning of a coach come from. Robin put the Augusta boys into the regional tournament for the first time in 23 years. Now someone decides that we need a new coach? This post shouldn't count towards your total of 8. I, obviously, think that Augusta will take this one. The district tournament is always a fresh start on the season for the Augusta Panthers, whether they've had a good or bad season, this game is what brings the fans back to the Den.
  10. I honestly Think that Bracken has a chance in this one. I've played this Mason team, and it's definitely not their best group. We had them on the ropes for the first half of the game (but 2 halves = a whole) Needless to say, we got trampled in the end. If Mason comes out overlooking Bracken like they did us, they might end up in another tight position. [Congrats panther on your 1,000th post]
  11. Josh White from 75 feet. haha, I'm gonna have to pick Chris Owens on this one, since I have fallen victim to his clutch-ness.
  12. That's an awfully close game taking into consideration that they (supposedly) didn't have Willoughby
  13. Blocking out has been an issue for the team in most of the games I've gone to, especially against a big man. They seem to continue to jump up and down as i.e. Tyler Hamilton rebounds his own misses and puts the ball back for a layup. It's not easy to move someone of Dumphord's size away from the goal, but if you can make him go over your back, that's just as good as, if not better than, a rebound.
  14. 2 words. Chase Dumphord yet... 2 more words. Senior Night. As long as Augusta keeps good position on Dumphord, which, in retrospect, is NOT an easy thing to do, they will come out on top.
  15. Very true, in Augusta one win/loss can make/break you in your supporter's eyes.
  16. Kind of an obvious answer after calling it a "disappointing draw" but they drew Mason County
  17. 37th: Brossart and Scott 38th: Pendleton and Deming 39th: Mason and Augusta 40th: Clark and Montgomery
