How are you missing the point? They were averaging 164 yards per game BEFORE the Mississippi St game.. where is that in the national rankings? I imagine a lot higher than 74th. The 130 yards per game average is BECAUSE of MSU... which helps make my case.

That is not a fact. A fact is when you provide numbers to support your argument. In LSU's first three games they ran for 149, 178 and 164 yards. Compare that with 31 against Mississippi State. I watched most of the second half of the game. Calling their defense pathetic based on this game is a joke. It is too early to tell about UK's defense. They haven't looked as good as I hoped they would. They did good in game one, okay in game two and settled in and looked okay after the first quarter against Florida. The jury is still out on UK.

I hate to interrupt all of your cool sayings with facts, but they gave up 263 yards and 16 points to LSU. That makes them pathetic :idunno: LSU ran the ball 30 times for 31 yards. Should I keep the facts coming or dance around the question and come up with neat phrases like you do?

With possibly the worst accuracy of any QB in recent memory. Chad Pennington can't throw the ball 30 yards with the wind at his back, but he is very accurate and gives his team a chance.

Outside of throwing the ball hard what kind of talent does he have?

In your previous post you make it sound like Brooks won't do it because he is too old school and he needs to catch up with the rest of the country.

Yes I watched the game, it was far from a debacle.

Henry has found himself fourth on the depth chart. I am ok with what Coles and Caldwell bring to the table. Coles had a huge block on the 23 yard TD run by Benson... something we haven't seen from the Bengals in awhile.. receivers blocking. The play calling was certainly questionable at times, but we also did have a few incomplete passes on first down which puts us in a really bad spot. We can't abandon the run like I see a lot of NFL teams do.

A lot of teams take the last week of the season off if they have clinched. Not something we should expect, but something that we can pull for.

The defense gave up 13 points... the other was a pick six and two point converstion (which I guess you could put on the defense if you wanted). Don't blow it out of proportion because you didn't cover.

The great thing about the NFL is that most would have picked the first three games for the Bengals as... W - DEN L - @ GB L - PITT
