WV 51, HC 42. Tungate led the Bearcats with 18 points, Daugherty 12, Hensley 6, Roberts 6, Jones 6, Zwick 2, Wombles 1. Bearcats played alot better with a more aggressive defense, something we haven't seen a whole lot of this season. Also I can't forget to mention Kyle Lynn played very well though he didn't score he played a great defensive game and had alot of assits. GOOD JOB Bearcats , let's see if we can keep it going against Lloyd and the All A.

All of the teams that they have in 8th they have played close or beat. Could slide in back door and win if they play as well as they played against Trimble. Should know more after Carrol next week.

I agree, all 3 big men are not up to power. They are either sick or hurt.

Last game Hurd had 22,Hester 13, Schambach 14 for SK those were their big performers. WV Tungate 18, Hensley 11, Daugherty 5. Game final score SK 74 WV 53. WV will need good performances out of all their big men to even stay close. Still think SK by 20 because of their outstanding guard play.

I just think we need to try and get a few more turnovers instead of having so many. I think the last 2 years we have been spoiled.

MO, I just think that if something is not working after 7 games you might think about changing. I like Kyle and Dan both and respect both. I watched Kyle play on one of the most successful teams that ever walked on the floor. To change the subject a little for spillywilly I don't think it's any great surprise about Tungate he played 19 games last year with a broken ankle and did not want to have surgery till after the season. This is his first really healthy year after 20 weeks of rehab. He is just begining to show his real potential and he seems to play with real desire.

Before Sullivan came back to W-V we watched alot of under-acheivers that were coached only by Kyle. After Sullivan came back we saw teams that begain to play defense again and started to force turnovers. The 2003-04 team that you played on was a good example do you think that without Sullivans input that you all would of acheieved as much as you did. As a Situation Coach Bennett is a real underacheiver.

Walton has become a Bennett coached team again. It just doesn't seem like they are allowed to play man to man like they were taught in the last two years. I think people forget that 3 of these boys played alot of varsity minutes last year playing good hard nose defense. I know that these boys are use to winning and if allowed to they can win again.

GC better hit everything they throw up from the outside because they won't get many put backs.W-V by 5.

SK has as good of guard play as any team I've seen play in the 8th. W-V just doesn't have any solid guards yet. But nobody can say they quit. HEART can only take you so far.

SK has nice team, should do pretty well in the 8th overall. Walton played well at times just turned the ball over too much. Tungate was the leading scorer for W-V with 18 points and only missed 1 FT. He is developing into one of W-V's best players. I would like to see SK play Shelby County during the season.
