  1. You will need to get a dentist to provide you with a "pre-work up" on the implants that need to be done. This would need to be submitted to both your dental carrier and medical carrier. The dental carrier will estimate what, up to the maximums of the policy, they would pay for these services. Your medical carrier will typically deny these services, saying it is outside the scope of the contract. You will need to file an appeal. In this appeal, it is most important to have your oncologist or another medical doctor familiar with the effect your cancer had on your mouth, indicate in the appeal as to why this is a valid medical claim. Also, your dentist should indicate in the appeal the importance of your dental health moving forward. Be patient...stay the course, and I think good things could come.

  2. Henry Clay at Scott County this evening. Will SC leave the undefeated ranks?

Actually, Scott County left the undefeated ranks back in December down in Myrtle Beach in the Beach Ball Classic. A California team defeated the Cardinals.

This would be their second loss this season, but I don't think tonight is the night the Blue Devils beat the Cardinals. Not on their home floor.

I better spot for Henry Clay will be in the district tournament in about a month. That will be played on Henry Clay's home floor.

The most meeting (if they meet) would be down in Richmond in the 11th Region tournament.

I like the homesteading Cardinals tonight.

  3. I very much enjoy watching the University of Virginia play basketball. Coach Bennett is an outstanding teacher of the game.....at both ends.

This year I have enjoyed watching Tennessee play. I have always thought Rick Barnes was a good coach who always got a bum rap as an underachiever.

As a long-time avid UK fan, I have always caught heat for watching UK rival teams play when UK is not the opponent. This has been especially from my wife who thinks you should hate all teams not wearing blue and white and "KENTUCKY" across the front of their jerseys. I liked watching Pitino's U of L teams play. I also enjoy watching Duke and Krzyzewski teams play.

Oh, and my old Dayton Flyers.

  4. Yes, David Johnson did play, However, without question it was the worst game I have ever saw him play, enough said. Henry Clay is a solid team that plays hard. Very competitive game.

Maybe an underpar game at the offensive end, but he played some fantastic man-to-man defense on Henry Clay scoring machine Marquez Warrick. He averages over 23 points per game and had just 10.

Johnson is a very unselfish player in the Trinity team concept, but was probably not assertive enough at the offensive end. Man he is a good looking athlete.

  5. The Henry Clay Blue Devil basketball team played an outstanding game to get the upset over the Trinity Shamrocks.

Surprisingly, their leading scorer, Marquez Warrick (23 points per game), was held in check by Trinity. Senior guard, Keaston Brown, and senior forward, Harris Hawkins, had big games for the Blue Devils.

Henry Clay is in the same district and region as Scott County, so they would probably have to pull off another big upset to get to Rupp Arena.

    Big win!

  6. I LOVE Mike Vrabel's of the Tennessee Titans decision to go for a 2-point conversion to attempt to win the game against the LA Chargers during this morning's breakfast at Wembley Stadium.

I DISLIKE the play call for the 2-point conversion. You have the ball at the 1 1/2 yard line as the result of a holding penalty. You have a powerful tailback in Derrick Henry and you have a very mobile, nimble quarterback in Marcus Marriotta, yet you call a pass play.

Good call.....bad call, in my opinion.
