  1. i think its a great idea and good for the kids, no matter who wins I believe all will go over well and I think it will help hipe the crowd to come out for such a huge event but thats just MO.
  2. I understand and agree and I feel this years Belfry team has really made its own mark and identity in the football pages. Being a Sheldon Clark fan I must say Im pulling for the Cardinals but I must admitt that Belfry is one heck of a team right now in their own right, they too have surprised many this year and are just as dangerous as any Belfry team of the past. Maybe not with all the glimmer and bright lights but still winning games and thats what counts. My hat is off to the Belfry program, but right now it is about right now, and the boys playing this year have worked just as hard and came just as far as about 8 others in class 2a in the state and thats a great feat for anyone. But now for this Friday night I look for 1 heck of a game from 2 great teams but I have to go with the Cardinals in a real close one Cardinals 15 Pirates 14
  3. A good game by the Cardinals and great job by the O and D lines. This was a nice win for the program but now its time to focus on next week. The O-line and D-line will have to not only continue with a repeat preformance but step it up another step so the Cardinals can advance again. Keep up the good work and dont let up.
  4. I must say that Coach Shawn Hager from Sheldon Clark has really done a great job bringing back the Cardinals in just his second year as a head coach. While being young himself and his team suffering from injuries like no other (3 starters 2 being running backs out for knee surgery, a starting receiver out with a broken wrist, and 2 other running backs out at one time for dislocated shoulders) In his first year as head coach the Cardinals finished 2-8 now even with all the injuries the Cardinals 7-3 with a first round home playoff game is a pretty remarkable turn around for a program that doesn’t have very many kids. To me being a good coach is when you display the ability to lead and teach even in the down times not just when you are loaded with talent and good numbers.
  5. I would have to disagree with you on this statement, with school taxs, amoung all other taxes paid by us all, plus all the additional fees and etc. I dont feel it is a free gov. paid education. Hay if I could recieve my taxes back in a voucher and take the fees I pay then I could send my kid to any school of my choosing. While Im not sure where I stand on this public private split, because I can see the good, the bad and problems with things no matter what, I do strongly feel that I pay for my childrens education and not the Gov.
