  1. Pendleton County has a very young, ambitious, and smart football coach. He will succeed.
  2. Give it a few years. It will take time, but Brossart has low numbers so they won't have to play a lot of the bigger schools.
  3. I won't name him, but my cousin. Also, about 5 of his buddies that live in Southeast CC.
  4. Pittsberger didn't get drafted for a reason. He's 7 feet tall and he's a good shooter. He has to have a weakness right????????? Defense...Defense
  5. How many would he have averaged if there were no other seven footers around?
  6. He couldn't guard any of those guys. Pittsnogle didn't get drafted because he is the slowest person in the continental United States. I'm 6'2" 240 and I am pretty sure he couldn't guard me because I'm too quick.
  7. He isn't too busy, but........... I would say he won't do it this year. Her future father in-law is no longer the coach.
  8. Actually rebounding and defense are speed and effort and neither can be taught. Positioning could be, but Pittsnoggin can't guard anyone in the league 1 on 1.
  9. In 04' the Pistons should have swept the Lakers so I'd say it didn't cost them the title.
  10. I'd say conditioning would be the "easiest" to fix because anyone can do it with success.
  11. :thumb: So he was 5 inches shorter than Shaq and weighed 100 pounds (or more) less. Yet he was the one defender in the league, at the time, that Shaq couldn't push around. I'd say he worked pretty hard and cared quite a bit. Also, you have to care to rebound the way he did. Otherwise he wouldn't have done it, he would have been a defensive specialist (which he was).
  12. Rodman used to sleep at the gym. He was in better shape than 99% of the people who ever played the game. Remember that 6'10" skinny guy with crazy hair bodying up with a young Shaq. Rodman cared. Rodman cared a lot.
  13. He was talking about Championships. Has Shaq lost one because he had a bad night?
  14. When he was drafted he was called ason Kidd, cause he had no J. Rondo could be an All-Star. Tubby and the teammates at KY did not help Rondo and he didn't help them. Four people would stand around and watch Rajon dribble and he would watch them stand around.
  15. Coach Carver did a good job with Pendleton's program and I think Brossart can be a good team in a few years. I know there are some big guys on the basketball team. Also, a lot of kids in Campbell County attended CCHS, or NCC because Brossart didn't have football.

  17. They axed everyone and it was still wrong. A group firing of educators. Of course he took heat it was an unprofessional way to handle the situation and IMo he made some bad choices. I'm not going to discuss it further because its been discussed several times before and that isn't our topic. Corson was not doing what it took to be effective at a 4A school. Before him Goetz had success at CCHS. However, varsity football at CCHS was struggling. When he left and Corson replaced him they had about 45 kids dressing varsity. That's barely enough to have an effective practice. They ran less and lifted less than they did under Goetz. IMO Troy Styer is a great fit. He's a Camel through and through. He cares about the program and the kids and he knows pretty much about football. I think 75 freshman coming out next year is a reflection of the young coaching staff, the middle school and Red Devil programs, and believe it or not I think the recent Bengal success has got a lot of these kids interested in football. When I played at CC there were at least 15-20 kids who did not play football that would have been starters as sophomores. Had those kids played we could have had a very very good team opposed to a pretty bad one.
  18. Put glove oil on a ball and place it in your glove. Then have someone put rubber bands around it(while its still on your hand.) Place it under a mattress. Try to take it out and use it every day. After about a week its ready to go.
  19. I'm not sure who that is, but Russell Allan got a D1 scholly.............. I saw 0 kids play high school basketball that were as big and strong as Russell last year.
  20. You took that completely wrong. Newport isn't exactly a power house either, and 2A is hands down the worst division in the state. Leaving a 4A job for a 2A job would normally be looked upon as a bad move, but obviously athletics at CCHS are a second priority. Leaving for a 2A school IMO was a slap in the face to his players that played last year.
  21. I can't give him much credit because he left and went to a 2A school. CCHS has never been as bad as they were under Corson and whoever replaced him was going to do a better job.
