Sorry we could't give you a better game Ryle Fans. Judging by the radio call of the game, Meade didn't have enough in the trenches on either side of the LOS.

Beth Haven's gym is tiny.....if it's crowded, it can be really noisy too.

Meade passes 1 out of every 3 plays. Not sure we have a passing style offense.

Individually, Alex Furnival (#3) has good speed. He'll be the returner and will be in the slot. Ned Brown (#26) has decent speed at RB. Stinnett (#30) the FB is 6'1" and about 230, no speed, but runs downhill and is a load to get down. Team speed is modest at best. Meade is very disciplined, they play their lanes and do not beat themselves on defense, but speedster kids that can get outside quick give us big problems.

Meade's real achilles is depth. Only 45 dress and only 18 or so will play. I agree Cannady can be a difference maker, but only as a passer. He doesn't possess the speed necessary to break the running game open.

Ryle sounds similar to Meade then. Meade will use Ned Brown, Alex Furnival on misdirections and jet sweeps and will use FB Nick Stinnett for the grinding yards. Our passing game is effective, but rarely utilized to its fullest IMO. QB JL Cannady is not a real threat to run. How deep do the Raiders go on the depth chart?

Based on the clip, it looks like the Raiders will have a size advantage, but not by too much. I am aware of Murray, but what are the other Raider skill players. Offensively, what do the Raiders do best? worst?

Funny, I don't recall using "weak" in my quote. Maybe some reading comprehension classes would help you....... I will tell you that we "down-staters" view Northern Kentucky teams on our level, which is a level below the big 3 in Jefferson County. Sorry you may feel slighted, but the facts are just that, facts. Now, you could tell me the merits of the Ryle Raiders, or we can start a peeing contest.

Meade fans view this the same way. We'd much rather play Ryle (any N KY team) than have Male, X or Manual as we have in the past.

Alright Ryle fans..tell me about your team and I'll tell you about mine. The Waves run a lot of motion, trapping and misdirection in the running game. They also have a power back name Nick Stinnett who gets the call in short yardage. Ned Brown and Alex Furneval provide the speed. Meade is a primary run first, shoot second type of team. Jr QB JL Cannady has a good arm and is very accurate, but IMO, his skill set is not called upon enough as the Waves run over 65% of the time. On defense, the Waves are not very big, but the will hit you square in the mouth. They play assignment football and execute very well on the defensive side of the ball. Speedy skill players on the outside do tend to give Meade problems as the Waves do not have superior speed in the secondary. Special teams tend to be an adventure for us. Good Punter, and a very iffy place kicker. After a lot of injuries mid season, the Waves are healthy, and young. only 7 seniors on this team. Many of us in Brandenburg feel next season will truly be a year for us, this year is just gravy to get to the 3rd round.

If Campbell wins, Meade will host I believe. If Ryle holds on, we're coming north :walk:

Meade was really banged up when they played JH earlier. We're healthy now. And the Nelson team JH squeaked by on 11/3, Meade walloped 35-7 on 10/20. To me this game will go down to the wire.

JH thrashed the Waves earlier in the year. Meade is healthy now and I expect next week to be a close one.
