One of the players is Corey Mullins, not sure how he is doing now but I heard last night it was a really bad accident and I'm pretty sure he was the one flown out to UK. Very sad to here and if I'm correct I think it happened right after school let out, and it was right in front of the school on the highway. There have been many accidents to happen in that area of the school. If I here anything about their condition I will pass it along.

If anyone remembers this actually happened during a Red Sox game a couple of years ago and the batter didn't run and was thrown out, of course the batter was mad but it was legit.

Ummm If there was no intent by the batter to interfere then the run should probably count. You would have to be there and see the batter because if he is finishing his swing of motion then there is no intent to batter interference. Odd play though!

Yes, actually it worked in high school, we done it my junior year (2002-2003) at Shelby Valley. It worked on some teams.

We used to do this things where if a runner was on second we'd call off the second baseman and short stop telling them not to guard second base and when the runner sees that no one is behind him he gets a bigger lead and then we have the center fielder run in from the outfield and the pitcher quickly throws a pickoff attempt to second and e occasionally got the runner out.

I understand where you're coming from also. I agree about it but I don't really take sides on high school games, I give credit where it's due and I congrat Elliott on the win because they had to make the shots and the free throws to win but the refs didn't help matters much!

I wasn't either, but TrueBlueSV and I both went to Shelby Valley back in the day and so we both know people that were there and they all said it was very lopsided. I wouldn't post unless I heard from someone that was there firsthand.

Well I think the final foul count was 31 fouls for Shelby Valley 16 for Elliott. Extermely onesided and when it happens like this something can't be right. Good luck to Elliott and congrats for moving on but I find that this game wasn't called completly fair

Ah well, it's over. Shelby Valley down 11. They had this game before it even started, they are better than Elliott but are nervous and just can't handle themselves.

Shelby Valley has been hurt by foul trouble since the first quarter. They were firin on all cylinders but since the 2nd quarter they haven't played to their potential. They have 8 minutes left to come back and win. Big factor is that Jacob Bryant has 4 fouls and hs been on the bench most of the game!

We can only hope! 41-34 with 15 seconds left.
