With where radio is going...similar to the new paper industry. Online stream is where it's at. Those group of guys doing the games are great. Know each of them well. Kudus for them for stepping up and to the station doing Somerset games. Somerset compared to the rest of the state, always has great HS sports coverage esp by radio. Iheart made a big mistake IMO by cutting sports in PC. Hopefully these guys keep it going and make some $$ while at it.

EKU will be the same until they upgrade facilities, find more $ for recruiting and paying assistant coaches! Like someone said earlier RK isn't walking back thru that door. I'm not sure RK could win at EKU now like he did.

As for Coach Hood, I've been lucky enough to know him for 16 years and I'm the better man for it. I've been honored to have played for him at one point, and remained close to him. He is a great coach and even better person. It's been really cool having a mentor like him in Richmond to see and talk to from time to time. He will bounce back to a DC at a big school if he chooses to and I'll support him and his family like always. Unfortunately, it's the business and things happen, hope I'm wrong for EKU players sake, but 3/4/5 years down the road they will look back on this as a mistake.

Good first showing for D. He will only get better and more touches with time. All that will depend on if he can pick up the Pass block part, very big part of bama RB spots.

Jalen needs to return punts or Kermit. TEs played well esp. Izzo. Which is awesome because it's a huge loss from NOL. I know it was TS but Oline played well, and was impressed by EG.

Defensely will be fine, just young and need reps. Looked to play a lot of base defense which anyone can find holes in. Game plan truly starts this week. Hunter and Marshall playing that star spot will be huge this year esp if we need them get pressure. Hopefully with an upgraded DL coach, front 4/5 can get pressure. Featherson getting healthy will be big for depth but Josh Sweat is a Beast and will be an AA player!

So, Alabama, OSU, FSU to name a few are recruiting the kids who pay the most at camps to get ranked? Rankings matter people, there is a reason why those same schools are good every year, it's because they win the recruiting titles and get the best/top rated kids. It's funny I only here teams who don't recruit at a high level say " recruiting ranks don't matter." It seems to matter to Bama, Auburn, AM, FSU, OSU etc...

Not singling out this kid, just speaking to some who say rankings don't matter. Idk why he dropped so much and wish him nothin but the best.
