I know of 3 names that have applied and are getting interviewed. 2 have been HC before and 1 hasn't but is a good young coach. Should be interesting.

I didn't see the job open on the KHSAA website. Are they going to hire in house? Will they have many to choose from, with it being late in the year?

I don’t know. I can’t imagine anyone on staff they’d hire. I also can’t imagine their is much interest, given the lack of support for the program, and the new district in 2019. Plus, it being so late to hire for coaches in the school.

Been in the works for about 2 months now.

Coaches at Bama are very high on this kid.

WC has talent and they have some big kids. TBH They are trying to recreate HBURG of old with out the D1 talent. It just doesn't work. Yeast, Johnson, Bug, and such dont play for Woodford Co. When they were running the power stuff a few years ago, it was decently successful. Just my opinion.

Lose Spring Ball, gain nothing further in June or July. Yep, sounds like a pro basketball move to me. HS programs get the same out of 10 spr pra days as colleges do out of spr pra and the extra bowl pras. MO of course. More reps of anything isnt bad! Basketball has been doing it in KY for years!

IDK Slink. I think FSU can win. I don't think its a blowout either way. I keep hearing " well bama has beaten USC, Wisconsin, Michigan etc the last years in blow outs!" Well, those 3 schools arent even close to FSU talent esp this year. So, we will see, I think its a great game. Bama doesn't scare like maybe they would have in the past. Talking to certain people I know (Slink you know who that is) the offense is completely different (obviously) but all the terminology has changed as well. So, a learning curve is there and if Jalen Hurts is tossing the ball all over the place, I think its a good sign FSU is getting things done.

It depends on the OL. If the OL can keep DF12 up right where he can step into balls and get the ball to the WRs (FSU WRS are skilled but un proven for the most part), it will help. Replacing Davin is a tall stretch but with the returning guys and throw in Cam Akers I feel okay about it. Defensively, I think FSU has a slight edge esp. in the secondary.

Being an FSU guy, I am saying they win but thats why we play the game.

Jimbo and Saban obviously know each other very well and hopefully Jimbo doesnt try to out think himself or the situation.

Can't wait to see Kaindoh play. OL has to be better, and protect DF12.

Valdosta to Tally is an 1HR 30min or so, Lake City to Tally is 1HR 40min or so. Plus for me if I couldnt get a spot in Tally, you are already on I75 that much closer, if you are driving.

May as well stay in Lake City, if your going to stay in Valdosta. There is always Madison and Live Oak. We stayed at the Baymont Inn in Thomasville for my niece's graduation. It was OK. For a FSU home game, the Econo Lodges in Tally run $200+ a night.

Yep, I book my rooms in Jan for the up coming season. Stay in Thomasville, and or Valdosta is the next best option. Maybe try Air BNB route. Hotel COST ARE CRAZY in TALLY for home games.

I'd think quick. Them rooms fill up fast. Waiting a week could be the difference between staying a decent Holiday Inn and camping in a ditch along the side of the road.

They didn't LOSE the Russell sponsorship. The KHSAA voided the contract.

One of the worse basketball games I have ever seen. It was brutal. This has to be one of if not the weakest districts in the state. I mean its MC and MS, with Berea and Model. MC or MS should win it every year. and they have... they have lock every year for the region.

If it was a racial slur, how does Rick not call him out in the PC and say that? I mean that would of been the first thing Id say! I mean this is the same guy who flew the bird as he exited stage right a few years ago. I mean he isn't the model of self control lets be honest.

FSU should be absolutely loaded this coming year. They are starting to get those late 80s/90s style DE who can rush the passer and get home. LB depth should be much better this year and of course DB wise they are stacked. Will be interested to see who emerges as the star at WR. I am hoping Noonie picks up where he left off and Gavin comes on strong. Would love to See G. Campbell come back off a injury and make some plays. Hopefully the RB can some how make a dent and replace DC4 and the OLine improves! Cant wait for this season! Got my Tix for Sept 2!
