I just listened to a report about the civil judgment against him for the deaths and according to that report he didn't pay much of the money he was supposed to pay either.
I struggle with all of this now that OJ has passed.
RIP Mr. Simpson.
Yeah, it leaves you with a lot to think about for sure.

I think the family had a lot to say about it….
on another note the Craft Family plane went north east this morning
Has it landed yet?

Yeah I saw that earlier. His death is a weird one, it makes you wonder where he might be if heaven and hell are real....

I didn't think the rain was stopping until Saturday in NKY.
Only for short periods.

I doubt this one gets played unless they do it in the rain. Not supposed to stop until after 8 pm.

Mad Dog and Stephen A just had their top five college basketball destinations for coaches.
Lexington wasn’t on either one of them.
What was?

Gonna try and sell myself a little more on Scott Drew.
Only 7 current coaches have a NCAA title (8 if ya count Donovan).
Calipari - Not an Option
Izzo - Not an Option
Self - Not an Option
Hurley - Please Sweet Baby Jesus
Donovan - Bad Timing
Pitino - Idk what to say
Bennett - Barf
Scott DrewThat's kinda where I am with all of this as well. I even said to myself earlier that the timing just isn't right for UK and Donovan.

I mean I guess. They could always live off campus, have bodyguards (Clark probably already needs that) and take underwater basket weaving.
But I hear you, if I was young and had millions there would be no way on Earth I would want to sit in another college class and be treated like I am 2.
I'm not 100% certain on this but I feel like a lot of basketball teams have policies about athletes living off campus etc. I could be wrong, but that comes to mind for some reason.

Arkansas is a good job, but it's not in the same strotosphere as UK in prestige. I would say this is a big shot to Cal's ego having to make this move.
I read an article the other day that said Arkansas was, I believe, the 7th best coaching job in college basketball.

I’m very surprised the deal hasn’t been completed yet. Wonder if it’s falling apart
It was reported last night that it wouldn't be done until Tuesday.

Is it me and my low tech, but men’s semifinals on TBS, TRU and TNT whiles women’s semifinal on ESPN? Or did I miss the men’s broadcast on a more visible network?
Women's broadcast for the championship was on ABC.

That was my initial thought, I actually changed my numbers.
It's late, I'm tired, I'd say 8/7 to 10/5.

I think he'll be north of 10 million with about 4 to 5 million for recruiting.

Is it just me or does it feel like a lot of past female star athletes are anti-Caitlin Clark?
It's sad and it feels like there is a narrative. Pretty sure someone just stated the only way the WNBA grows, is with support from Women, yet here we are.

Go Cats!
Yeah. That's the reason this hasn't happened already. Kentucky doesn't have a coach waiting in the wings. This will be a tough hire and could end up being a short term hire, successful or not.

If there were a chance of him being “forced out” after next year, he’d be a fool to leave.
Meh. I dunno. Some guys like to leave on their own terms, cloud of turmoil dust or not.

My list goes:
Dan Hurley
Jay Wright
Brad Stevens
Billy Donovan
Buzz Williams
Beyond that, I'll know it's an absolute step down unless something shocks me.

I told my buddy, Cal going to Arkansas is kind of like going back to Memphis. He can be successful there, but regardless of how good he is or isn't it will likely be enough to keep fans happy. Not a lot less pressure but he can always recruit on his ability to get guys to the NBA. This all raises a lot of questions about UK and it's NIL situation. A lot of stuff floating around that makes you think NIL for players isn't at the forefront of things. Or Calipari is looking for a clean slate after screwing it up so badly when it started. I could see it either way.

Ask and you shall receive. I'm not happy about it at all, but give the people what they want. Mitch Barnhardt resume is being updated on LINKEDIN as we speak.

While I hate the late start also, I'm not sure what else they can do. Even the 9:20 tip time is just 6:20 on the West coast. An 8:15 tip as you offered would have the games tipping off at 5:15 right in the middle of rush hour out west.
Let's be real here. How many folks on the west coast will even tune in for this game? I agree that's why it's done, but I doubt too many will care.

According to ESPN, 7.9% of the brackets had this matchup in the finals.
I'm one of those 7.9% with UConn picked to win. In my work bracket, I went from 14th place to 3rd with last night games. A UCONN win on Monday will get me 2nd place.
