Why can't they just have fewer commercials but just charge more for them?
Who sets the price----NFL or the televising network, or does the advertiser sumbit an offer saying it will pay "x" dollars? Is the price ultimately negotiated?

As others have posted above, I have seen a lot of NBA mock drafts and Reed Sheppard is #15 or higher in every one. I have seen him as high as 2, 4 and 5 in various mock drafts. It is rare to see a lottery pick pass on going into the draft. But Duke's Kyle Filipowski did it last year so it could happen.
Also, Zach Edey of Purdue.

The Shamrocks win at home to go 20-5 on the season. Waggener falls to 7-13. This one was over early as Trinity led 40-12 at the half.

Who was the other first-place vote? CMc?
Not sure, but I think it was the Bills QB.

Trinity rallies to win on the road. Vasser, wearing a boot, did not play for Trinity. Ballard has been playing better lately. Nice win.

I think the Assumption basketball program is on the uptick. It would be good to have them back.

Wagner AND Mitchell expected to miss tonight's game. Better hope at least 2 of the 7 footers play well.
Next man up.

I would say he would be a long shot.
I do, too. That's one reason I said I questioned whether either party would be interested.

Wolfe does a great job at Male, no doubt.

True. But I don't imagine he'd get the same as Coen.
Also, the fact that it's UK would matter in this scenario too.
Being from Louisville he might want to get closer to home. He has done a good job at Oregon and before that, at Texas-San Antonio. His dad played football for UK.

Cards did everything in their power to try and give it away in the end. Lucky for them, FSU is equally putrid.
I had the feeling they were going to blow it at the end but they persevered this time. It was almost comical the way UL was giving up uncontested layups the last minute or so, being willing to trade a 2-point layup for two free throws at the other end. In a reversal of form I was watching UL at the end because UK was a lost cause last night. Usually, it is the other way around. As the TV announcer said, you have to like UL's win on a "human level."

Get Will Stein, former Trinity and UL quarterback, currently OC at Oregon. The Ducks put up a lot of points this year with Bo Nix. But I question whether either party would be interested.

I would assume this will be more and more commonplace with college coaches going to the NFL. The NIL and the transfer portal just makes coaching college football a brutal, never-ending pursuit.
As a Kentucky fan, I wish he would have stayed. But, I can't blame him (or any college coach for that matter) for making the jump to the NFL in this current time.
I wonder how much difference in pay there is between these two positions on average. If the NFL pays more and you can avoid NIL, portal, HS recruiting, etc., then the NFL looks all the better.

Trinity had a lot of trouble with the Knights' 3-2 zone. LC was up by 8 at half and held T to 6 in the 3rd quarter. Game over. The lead expanded to 20 before T made a non-consequential mini-rally late in the 4th. LC clearly much the better team tonight.

Trinity RB, Clint Sansbury, and receiver/RB, Luke Sasser, have both committed to Centre College. Coach Frye is getting two good, hard-working young men.

Kaleb Glenn from Male (played senior year at La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana) is averaging about 11 minutes per game for U of L and 19.5 minutes for his last two games. He is 6'6" and weighs 205.

I assume Coach Szabo is still out for Trinity. I wish him well.

Seems like Tre Mitchell's performance has fallen off.

What are the strengths of Catholic?
If memory serves, Trinity has not had a strerling record recently at home against Lexington schools. Over the past 4-5 years, I believe they have lost to Lexington Christian, Lexington Catholic, Henry Clay and maybe others.
-
Trinity has won 10 of their last 11 with the only loss being the controversial loss to St. X. They have a tough next game versus Lexington Catholic.
-
Badly needed win for the Bruins.

Very nice win for Coach Saxton.

So Ky ended up with 23 different lineups in the game last night and none over 3 minutes!! How is any team in existence suppose to maintain tempo and pace under these conditions???
Fair point.

I noticed that he did not seem to have his usual energy at the Atherton game on December 8. He pretty much sat the whole game. I sure hope he fully recovers from whatever ails him. He has been good for Trinity.

If St. X wins these last three games, I believe their regular season record would be 23-3. In terms of regular season winning percentage, this would be their best winning percentage since......when? It has been a very good year for the Tigers to say the least.
