Sloppy first half for the Panthers. Had 3 touchdowns called back in first half. Also had 2 turnovers and few missed assignments. Game should been running clock in first half. Lacked focus and discipline on defense. Good news they won and have several more games to fix these mistakes before district play.

HC really have it going on

Great Game.
Trying understand why T didn’t punt on their last possession. Take delay pooch it.

Fire WC coach -!4th and short in the gun - stupid

Frankfort isn’t playing physical enough to beat anyone right now. They lack being physical. Two things I never thought I would ever say about Frankfort - lacking of skill player depth and lack of physical play.
Until they start playing with an edge this team will be under achieviers.
-
VOR as always good stuff!
-
Frankfort was in red zone 3 times last night and had some type of mistake that took them out of the scoring position - bad snap, penalty, fumble. They left points on the field.
They also had a kick return for TD called back in the 3rd quarter.

Congrats to the Flyers

Not enough Depth yet, to many silly Penalties- to many turnovers for the Panthers.
Hats off to TN they made plays several times when they had too.
As for Frankfort being overrated. Maybe so for week 1. Let depth develop and young Offensive line come together and the answer will be no.
Not how you start but how you finish.

Awesome. Big shout out to the adults who invested in the kids at Pikeville.
-
Coach James and Coach Miller are good guys wish them both luck tomorrow.
-
Frankfort has 3 guys that are very special.
DaJuan Davis WR/RB he is that break away guy. He can make plays when needed.
Jevon Bush WR/CB - best set hands on the team has break away speed.
Jon Tillman QB/DE/OLB - Jon has gotten some D1 looks he is 6’6 strong arm. Hard runner

Me too, but at the same time I can't fault kids or parents who choose to make a decision they feel is best for getting their kids in a better situation for their future.
Wandale's talent was big enough that he got noticed by the big schools.
For other kids, they may have D-1 talent but are in situations where D-1 exposure is not likely. If they or their parents feel getting them to a place where they can better be noticed helps secure a scholarship and gives them a head start on a bigger future then more power to them.
Cameron Jones from Frederick Douglass is an example of this. If he stayed at Knott Central I am thinking the best case scenario he would have had would be a preferred walkon spot at a "bigger" school and an opportunity at a OVC school may have been his best "offer" potential with NAIA being the most logical landing spot.
Even without throwing a pass in a Frederick Douglass game I think just being at a larger school in Lexington legitimized him in the eyes of recruiters and now he is going to Cincy.
At Knott Central I don't think a Cincy recruiter would ever darken the hallway sadly.
Kids are punished by the KHSAA who wants a better situation. The rules only protect coaches and schools when it comes to transfers.

Paris has the playmakers to win.

What’s Williamsburg returning?

Frankfort has major depth issues. The roster full of young inexperienced guys. These young guys are a work in progress. District time they will be ready. Until then Panthers have to find away to rest guys 2-3 plays at a time.
Thomas Nelson size and heat index Friday will be something Frankfort has to find an answer for

Holy Cross returns good core of kids. I think they should be favorited to win their district.
-
Lets face it the West has been watered down since the departure of Mayfield.
Holy Cross,Russellville, and Frankfort have dropped off. The west once was very difficult.
-
Announced sticking with original decision.
Unfortunately I don’t see them recovering for next year either
-
Travel, 1A would have had them travelling a lot further.
Maybe in playoffs - but they could have played teams they been playing. Only teams would have added in the district would be KCD and Frankfort.
In 2A they can’t compete
-
With low numbers - I wonder why they want to stay in 2A when they had the chance to drop to 1a?

Coach Hawkins will work hard for the kids at Apollo
