All respect to Newport and James Thomas, but I don't think he is quite as good as Canafax. No knock on Newport or pump up of NCC, but just what I think from what I have observed.

Just like he didn't do in the mud slop, right? Adams is a speed runner not a power back.

All we heard all season was how Adams was a "complete" back and now we hear this... kinda inconsistant...

I really think the Newport O will get back on track this week with James Glenn back. We really missed his speed to the outside against Fleming. Defense last week surprisingly stepped up. Should be a good ball game.

Last year Newport really put it on the Raiders in the first round last year. But this year the team seems much improved. Can you guys tell me what the difference in last years team compared to this years? Im just trying to figure out how they improved that much from last year.

I think this will help too but Wilfong ran admirably in his place, does anyone think the carries will be split at all...

Newports "D" could be coming on just when it needs to, I think they will need Glenn back to win this game,could be a close one.

I saw Friday against Fleming that "Big Glen" Young was playing DT and seemed to be very effective against the run and the pass. But it seemed he tired easily...
