  1. You must have made the above statement because of one of the following:

    a. Complete lack of knowledge on QB's.

    b. A grudge against either Cashen or Corbin.

    c. You have never seen Cashen play.

    d. The tri-county area must be the hot-bed on QB talent in the country.

Cashen is not the best QB in the state(I have not seen where anyone claims that he is), but he would not be rated as one of the top 6 sophomore QB's in the country if you were right.

Cashen's best games last year were in the playoffs against E-town, DeSales and Owensboro Catholic. These were big games against teams with plenty of athletes and talent(several div-1 players on these teams. Contact the coaches of these teams and ask their opinion of Cashen and see if they agree with yours.

I saw Cashen last year up close and personal at the O Catholic Corbin game. We had Bernard who set the single season yardage record last year. When I left the game all I could talk about was how good that Freshman QB was. Our Coach caught him after the game and told him he was the best Freshman QB he has seen in a while. Now he may not be the best in the state this year but good greif he is only a Soph. He is a monster of a player and will be the best QB in KY when he is Senior!

  2. One of the best games this Friday night will be Trigg County versus Owensboro Catholic at Rash Stadium. Trigg is looking for some major payback, considering they've had their season ended by Catholic the last three years. It'll be a very sweet game.

I sure hope we make it 4 in a row! Will you be at the game Jak?

  3. First of all I would like to say that I have absolutely no dog in this fight. I live about as far from Paintsville as you can live. That being said my league Owensboro Southern has been both Bambino (now Cal Ripkin) and currently is Little League. I have coached a team to the Little League World Series. I have to say being involved with both that Little League is without a doubt a much better organization than Cal Ripkin. If you have a choice choose Little League! I have always respected the teams from Paintsville that I have had the priviledge of coaching against. You guys have always had a first class organization. I hope your league stays strong and continues to produce classy hard playing kids in your Little League.
