  1. What are you evening talking about? There was no question posed. Maybe you should watch your personal attacks :thumb:
  2. That's why I said "mainly". It's no secret they were perennial mediocre before him. And had it not been FOR him, they likely wouldn't have been good after him. Had it not been for him changing that program, there likely would have been less program support and some of those talented kids would have no doubt went to Tilghman or Mayfield where some of them had ties. Just the facts. And I agree. McCracken is a softball and baseball big boy as well as some of the other less popular sports. Until McCracken has a "Corey Robinson" like talent to change the program, so they pull some of the talent that otherwise would've gone to Tilghman, they'll be what they are. A good, not great team that competes with the 1A-5A big boys of West Ky, but never is a serious contender in 6A.
  3. I agree those are the only big boys. I just can't get behind the whole "McCracken has the numbers to pull from." There is some talent there and I hope the program grows. But the big numbers were from combining a 3 teams. One being one of the worst teams in the state for decades, another having been mediocre since the 90's and one School with recent success that mainly stemmed from a once in a lifetime QB in the county. McCracken isn't the only school who's merged that has massive numbers but are just not "big boys".
  4. Wheat has a lot of poise for a sophomore. The team has a lot of youth. Hopefully the rest of the team develops in the next 2 years.
  5. Too much weight is put on the # front of the A. No one on this end of the state expected it to even be this close. McCracken is not a true 6A "big boy" yet. Maybe someday, but not right now.
  6. Too bad she didn't teach you "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all"... Once again, it's a bad look to be insulting a man doing a service for the community based on a typo on a roster that was probably given to him by that players school.
  7. I know enough to know that a high school announcer isn't intentionally mispronouncing a kids name. And that some grown men crying about a typo is just not a good look.
  8. You know what they say about opinions
  9. Why would an away player be introduced? If it was the starting lineup, is it possible he was given 2 separate papers, one with the lineup and one with full roster? Some of you all are insufferable. All tore up cause a guy had a roster with a typo and no one bothered to correct him. Bashing a volunteer over a typo. Rediculous.
  10. I don't think it matters what McCracken does, Mayfield will roll regardless.
  11. False. Mayfield has a reported enrollment of 422 students, 56% males.
  12. Have they not been prior to this year?
  13. Just saying if he was given a roster with a typo and no one attempted to correct him, then some of y'all are just looking for a reason to be slighted. It's kinda petty/pathetic to be on here insulting the man for things beyond his control.
  14. Is it really his fault if he had a roster given to him with a typo?
  15. I thought the same till the dismantling of Union City. Mayfield has a more dimensions this year than they've had in a while. They shouldn't be challenged till state Semi's.
  16. No one said anything about looking past them, but the remarks about how surprised at the talent on the team is silly. And it's like this every year nearly. And none of those teams should be within 2 TD's of Mayfield.
  17. I don't know why some of the Mayfield fans keep acting surprised about their team this year. Not sure if it's sandbagging or what, but after the Union City game, their should not be a team on the schedule that gives the Cards a game for more more than the first quarter or 2.
  18. If not for the fumble when they were up 13-0 to PT a glimmer of hope, it could've been over at halftime.
