Agreements are oftentimes made, before a formal offer is presented.

So basically the other school didnt want him. He did a great job of sugar coating why he is staying at Trinity. If it was such love he would have never applied to begin with.

So, he didn't sell his home and move into a condo?

Forgive me....you're right...he did.....multiple years ago....moved into a loaded condo by where his house was....

Is it true that Coach Beatty has already sold his home?

NO.

I'd still be surprised to see him go.....

But....a few things....

1 - money isn't really a huge factor....his father passing and leaving him something like 1,600 acres of land, didn't hurt

2 - I believe his wife is still head of the history department at KCD, that's no joke either.

3 - I know his daughter has a great job here, not sure about son

4 - No grandbabies

5 - extended family, not a play right now.

If he goes, I think it's to try and find a way to win another mythical national championship.....that would be huge for his legacy.

Steve Specht would be #1 on my short list....and keep Cove.

My gut says Specht will be on the short list. I would look for Cove to stay.

Duke is horribly overrated.....no one should take them seriously.

Actually makes me think about the playoffs...and people just wanting the top two seeds of each district.....we wouldn't have made it.

How in the heck is RP surviving? Insane

I have not gotten more than 1-2 points from my RB's in weeks.

I'm not in favor of it either, but if it was going to be allowed, I was going to take advantage of it. Just like Coach Cal. Not like there's anything I can do about it but I'll be pretty frustrated if I don't receive the extra pick I traded for. I was expecting an executive decision to come down and say "No trading for future picks" but once NamecipS pulled his off, it opened the door.

 

Depending on the direction that the league heads next year (Potential flex and/or a TE starting spot), Julius Thomas could have still provided a lot of value to my team (or even if I could have traded him in the offseason). So it was a calculated risk to move him. Now of course it worked out in my favor quite a bit because he got hurt and Bobby Rainey became worthless, and Josh Gordon came back, but I don't feel like I should lose that pick just because the High Risers didn't stay in the league (if that happens).

Forget about talking Super District. I think you guys are so great you need to create your own class. Let's call it the Super Class, and you guys can play each other for the championship.

Because it comes across that way. Letting the play on the field do the talkng s always better and always goes farther than just sounding brandish.

Not meaning anything negative towards the starter but does UL win without Bolin coming in? I honestly think they do not.

In the paper the last TD for T in the 4th quarter appears to have been scored by a starter. Even though a running clock, did anybody play except the starters?

Yes we have a few that go both ways...most do not. why would it effect him now..he has been playing that way for the last 13 games.

We tend to "work" a secondary more so, than others.
