You're alright in my book, RockPride. Too bad for you my book is not a best-seller
I hope you are feeling better, I remember you were pretty sick last week, or the one before. Regardless thie Ohio Valley crud can linger.

Rich Rostel - RIP - what a GREAT GREAT man.

Despite our constant X/t bickering on BGP, RockPride, I for one always enjoy your posts and almost consider you as a friend. :thumb: :thumb:
And you certainly know that I have NOTHING but Love for the OX.

So how's married life?
And I like you, too.
Awesome, and thanks! I love being married, getting to give her my last name is something that was very big to me. I aboslutely love it. Now we are trying to have kids, and that's not ALL bad!

Ha, that's crazy, and you know you are "IN" -- :sssh: Can you hear me now?
Hey guys, thanks for the love. You know you guys are ones that I cherish also. To anybody that's new, this place is the best thing that has ever happened with a PC. At least, that my wife will LET me watch --

I appreciate that.

I thought, I'd update, I'm now 27 married, and still not very popular on BGP. Well, I guess a lot of people know me, just may not like me. I have a lot of favorites here on BGP, #1 probably being GameTime, mainly because we are basically twins on here.

Here goes the first from the Shamrock Nation. . . .
I'm 26, getting married in May, played ball at Trinity and at Western, not a native Kentuckian, therefore my team preferences aren't always the most popular on BGP. I will say that my views as to Trinity and its successes are more honest and true to the fact than some of my bretherin. Welcome to all new comers!!!!

Well, it sounds to me like a game that needs to be scheduled for next year in Papa John's stadium in the Charger classic. Fan outcry could help it happen. Boyle's not scared.
I know for a fact that Trinity has tried for at least the last three years to try and schedule Boyle. Last year we even volunteered to come down there. We wanted to end the streak. But Chuck said "no way". This is factual information. Straight from Dennis' mouth to my ears. WEhave no reason to lie or hide. Our schedule proves that we'll play anybody, anywhere!!!

Come watch'em. Many peoplesay that 3A is tops. Why, they're dominated by 3 teams, as is 4A, generally. I don't wanna hear it.

Would you take them over Louisville, or better yet, Trinity?

First off my guess is #10. He looks like he enjoyed many hours of "pong" as a child. These guys look like the rejects that didn't get picked in the movie Super Troopers. You all keep talking about some football game they were playing, WEST is the direction they were facing to take the picture, this was the only way the photographer could get these "scholar athletes" to face all in the same direction :flame: Guru #10, lol!!!

Maybe we can divide it up into classes! Since I don't know much about 1A and 2A I won't speak for those!!
4A - Louisville
Northern KY
Lexington
Western
Southern
Eastern
-----There's just not enough paraody in this class to see it as wny other way. I truly feel that in 4A NKY has started to respond and play better than lexington. Lexington has tons of work to do. I don't think that it's all on the field. I think that in Fayette County there is some serious problems brewing, through the county's administration of athletics, especially football.
3A-Central KY
NKY
Western KY
-----There really isn't enough consistent talent to respond to any more regions.

I'm not saying this is illeagal or that its against the rules, but how does Trinity have players on there team who do not live in Jefferson county, and a few(if im correct) that dont even live in the state of kentucky? Thats right, I heard they havea few players from Indian! Can anyone explain?
Yes, trinity is allowed to have players from wherever they want. Keep in mind Trinity doesn't provide transportation, therefore, the student must find his own way in.
By the way Tony Driver was from Glasgow, and had to pay a small tuition to go to Male. Food for thought.
By the Way, that last statement was an absolute fact!!!!

Do you realize how insulting your comments are towards people who attend or went to public school? No wonder they get a measure of joy out of pounding you in basketball.
Not to mention the facts don't even support what you are saying. It sounds like you are trying to say that finanical burden prevents many top athletes from attending Trinity. From an outsiders (probably shock many of you that TheMan is not connected with Trinity ) point of view it doesn't appear that Trinity is having much trouble finding top athletes who are willing to pay the price: Brohm, McBroom, May, Thiry, etc.
Make no mistake TheMan doesn't care where a kid goes to school. TheMan doesn't care why a kid chooses to go there. TheMan doesn't want Trinity, X, or anyone else to have to play in their own "private league" (what fun would that be).
TheMan only wants to say that day one before any weights are lifted, before any coaches are hired, before a pad is strapped on, before a schedule is put together, before a single play is contemplated, Trinity (and X) have an advantage that will allow them to beat probably 85% (if not more, maybe many more) of the teams in this state. This is a bit hard to swallow for some Trinity fans, because they want to believe that they win solely because of tradition, work ethic, coaches, heart, community support, etc., however, just because it is a little hard to swallow doesn't make it any less true.
I dig the "third person" point of view!!:sssh:
