Yep, lots of kids and plenty of private schools to choose from.

Kids can go to any school they want in the county, public or private....as it should be. You don't OWN a kid simply by where his parents choose to reside.

Knowing a lot of kids in CAL's program, you could see this coming. They are super young. The bulk of this team'/ talent are sophomores. Clearly they are coached well.

I'll be up front. I don't like Ballard. I like Ballard LESS then I like Simon Kenton. I wish nothing good for Ballard. Ballard is built on Trinity's rejects.

 

If Trinity can hang a hundred on Ballard I hope they do.

Not your best effort....I don't think this was appropriate. Using your basis, above, I am a "Trinity Reject" . . . I got kicked out of Trinity when I was a freshman. Went to Ballard, played there, and we beat #1 Trinity in the playoffs.....HOWEVER....I did go back to Trinity...and graduated from there. I have fond memories of both places. But Trinity is where my heart is.

 

I do wish this game would be highly competitive....I think we need to get hit in the mouth pretty good. Home field is huge, particularly when playing teams out in the state.

Trinity had around 330 yards rushing.

BA had three big plays....we held them to 0-8 on 3rd down....we had 3 int's.

This year is a huge question mark. There is a lot of young talent, but it is unproven. History states, that they'll be fine....but they have to get out there and perform.

I'm not close to the program, but I've never heard of Isaacs being much involved. One thing I can say is that I come from a Trinity family (all my uncles, dad, cousins, and brother went in addition to myself) and I have never heard a bad word about Beatty as a coach.

There's plenty of ill will towards Beatty...some warranted, some not....that being said. He was brought in to lead by example and win....and he does both, brilliantly. He's a loving husband and father. He is dedicated, first, to his family, then to Trinity....

 

He rubs people, because he doesn't care about popular opinion, and he's not trying to make friends. He tells it how it is, and that's tough to handle sometimes.

It may be an awesome hire....it may be a disaster. I would not want Trinity to hire one of our former legends to be our head coach (too much potential for personal disaster).

Now, I'm not saying it's a disaster....but it hasn't been great. My point was, if it ends up being a disaster, or "not great".....it gets real uncomfortable....and I think that's where we are now.

 

Personally, I think Will would resign, before forcing X's hand with his ousting. Not sure they're there yet. Next year will be huge.
