I told the coach in parting that his team had nothing to be ashamed of and they could hold their heads high...what an excellent game...I think my BP and pulse are just about back to normal!

I spoke with one of the BS coaches as the game was about to end and asked him the same question...he told me his team didn't know how to win the close games and when they did win, didn't know how to maintain a winning attitude. They had all the talent in the world, but lacked the discipline needed to be a contender.

To say Bryan Station is huge is a gross understatement!!! That's the largest collective high school team I've seen on this side of the river. The running backs...#3 and 24 took a lot of pitches around the end and picked up huge chunks of yardage....very similar to Colerain. The bubble screen to #4 was also effective...Bryan Station's skill guys were fast and very hard to bring down on the initial hit. This game was a nail-biter right to the very end...Highland's last drive was aided immensely by a couple of off-side penalties by Station. Highlands could move the ball effectively, but fumbles and untimely penalties stalled a couple drives. Good to see Josh Conner carry most of the load and regain some of his 2007 form.
