  1. Lots of difference between Freshman and JV championships in the 9th and Varsity District and Regional appearances in the 10th.
  2. Is it my imagination or do the same teams always make it to the All A tournament? Seems like its the same teams every year. I don't look at it as much of a "small school tournament" as I do a tournament that has the big name Class A schools every year.
  3. You might want to contact Mike Bankemper at Campbell County High School. They replaced all the mats in their wrestling training room, but I am not sure what they did with the old ones.
  4. Harrison and Campbell split in the regular season, with Harrison defeating the Camels in the regional finals. Clark beat Brossart and Campbell and lost the first game in the region. Brossart beat Campbell in a short game in the regular season, but Campbell shut them out in the district opener. All I can say is, the regular season is a warm up to the post season and I wouldn't put too much stock in a regular season win or loss. The Camels always seem to play at a different level once the post season comes around.
  5. Heard it was academics from a very reliable source.
  6. I know Providence is a very little school. One of the asst. principals at our school graduated from there. There is no reason to do that to anyone.
  7. Could this score be correct? Saw it on Riherds tonight.
  8. I guess the second game will depend as well on the ability of those two players to become academically eligible at the time of the district.......
  9. I was at the game and there was a fair amount of mugging going on by both teams. Scott did their share of grabbing, pushing, shoving and elbowing without getting caught as well. As far as the officiating, I have been in the 10th region for many years and that is the way the games are called. It's not the 9th region where you breath on somebody and they call a foul. Get used to it, your not in the 9th anymore.
  10. Actually the Camels are 6-9, but only 3-9 after three opening season wins against lesser opponents.
  11. Camels cut the lead to eight early in the fourth, but two straight turnovers ended the comeback. Sophomore Andy Franzed did have a good game for the Camels. He either had 13 or 15 points off the bench.
  12. Camels come out flat and play very little defense. Boone just wanted it more and won going away.
  13. The Camels also have Scott at home this month. I think they have a good chance to beat Boone and Scott. The Camels schedule has been a bit tougher than Scott's.
  14. BG, guess we should ask the Head Director to explain it since he seems to have the market cornered on what is Northern Ky.
  15. Good luck to you to BG. I just state the facts that's all. I'd love for all of the old 38th district to be in the regional. I hate that the State busted it up. Those three schools, Brossart, Campbell Co. and Pendleton Co. are all great rivalaries and strongly supported by their fans. I would have loved to see the state just include all of Campbell in the Tenth Region so the rest of us could still compete with Coach Schlarman in the Region. Of course Newport, NCC, Bellevue, Dayton and Highlands wouldn't want to be considered out of Northern Kentucky..........hahahahahahahah
  16. Not sure BG Green, you tell me, seems Brossart's super class never made it to the Regionals in basketball or baseball either their Junior or Senior years.
  17. look at scratchers.com for a quick way to raise money, but i wouldn't do it until after tryouts.
  18. Thank god Brossart got seeding this year, at least they will make it to the Regional Tournament.............heheheeheheheh
  19. Have you ever been to Rabbit Hash, Petersburg or Constance. Talk about the middle of nowhere and don't forget that booming metropolis of Morning View and Visalia, your right Covprob, The Head Director evidently never ventures past Covington, Newport or Ft. Thomas or where ever he is from.
  20. Actually the first time Biggs coached it was at Dayton High school.
  21. Game must have been similar to the Bracken-Campbell Co. game. That one end something like 76-21. Even Pendleton's third game in four nights didn't help the Polar Bear cause.
  22. About the only thing that Bracken has going for it is the fact that this is Pendleton's third game in four days and even that isn't going to help.
  23. Great job by the enquirer on the article. Too bad they got the headline wrong. But then again that's par for the course. Guess they had to get the Mustangs in the headline somehow...............hahahaha
