I thought the Hughes kid would give them that running attack. It'll take a lot more than the Deaton/Cole show to win against Danville.

Yes, it is definitely the Cole and Deaton show for now. They are carrying them even though they're losing. Aren't their some other options or will they go as far and the Deaton/Cole show can take them?

Good game but still a loss with Danville coming up. Will the kids keep their heads up going 0-4 to start the season.

If Grimes throws like he capable of, then Danville could pull this one off. Rich will win one game. He may throw a shut-out and hit a solo shot to beat LC 1-0. But either way it should be interesting. LC may be better 1-9 but Grimes and Rich are a tough 1-2 punch and Lynn and big Dee are tough in their own ways.

Danville must be playing really well to have mercy ruled their last two opponents. Will be interesting to see if Somerset can play with them tonight. Anyone know anything about the two pitchers going tonight?

Somerset's 6 hitter actually had the big hit that won this one. Toohey hit a two run single with bases juiced in the top of the 6th to put the game on ice.
