While I am surprised at the Jumpers' 0-3 start, it has been against very, very good competition. The description of the games leave the impression that the Deaton-Cole connection is there, they just need a little something extra.

Warren East is becoming a force. Where in the world did Warren County get all the good football players this year??

Yes, it is definitely the Cole and Deaton show for now. They are carrying them even though they're losing. Aren't their some other options or will they go as far and the Deaton/Cole show can take them?

Well, according to the Danville faithful in the Danville/Boyle thread, Deaton and Cole may be licking their chops at the Danville secondary, so maybe those two will be all they need for now.

Realistically (and I have seen nary a game yet, but am going from descriptions), they need to start playing some tougher D and maybe get at least some running game going.

I thought the Hughes kid would give them that running attack. It'll take a lot more than the Deaton/Cole show to win against Danville.

What in the world would make you say something like that? I watched the first half of the SW/Somerset game last week and was very impressed with how Somerset looked. I had heard many people saying that they were supposed to be down this year, but I thought they looked very talented even a 0-3. Personally, I think next week's game will be very competitive. Danville will have success running the ball and Somerset will have success throwing the ball. I hope all the lights in the scoreboard are in working condition.
