The St Xavier Tiger Run kicked of the 2025 CC season this past Saturday (8/30) at Champions Park in Louisville. The event started of with the Women's Varsity 5k at 8:00 AM followed at 8:30 by the Men. Susanne Estepp of Paul Dunbar won the Women's with a time of 18:27. While Nick Sanders of hosting St Xavier took the Men's crown clocking in at 15:26. The teams podium for Women was: 1 Floyd Central 48 2 Sacred Heart 100 3 Conner 141 and for the Men: 1 Trinity 39 2 St Xavier 90 3 Silver Creek 118 * with Trinity placing 5 of the top 11 finishers. That looked to me like a solid team out there against Owens week one, backing up the scrimmage result against FD. Trinity on paper is still my #1 until proven otherwise, and sadly, the "Beating a Baby Seal" PRP game doesn't show us much. Going to be a great year for both teams, I think. Here's looking to them landing on opposite sides of the bracket for a potential showdown if fate has it in the cards. Still, one game at a time, it is a long road to get there. Go Rocks!

I think it was 4 minutes left in the first when the running clock was hit.

No more updates from me, not that they are needed for this one. Have to drive out and pick up my daughter at the game before it ends. Go Rocks.
