Was a tough end for the Wildcats though I do believe they’ll be able to win their next 3 games and compete for the 2 seed in the district.

The Whites Creek QB only being a sophomore is pretty wild, a lot of poise and confidence in the pocket, big play to take the lead late in the game. Stunned!

That’s a lot of points! Wasn’t expecting to see that from either side, I’d imagine if you told the Defenders staff before the game they would score 35 points they would’ve felt like they had a chance to win. That was never the case, good win to open the season for the Spartans.

Campbellsville is looking very good early, up 14-8 in the 2Q driving down the field.

Wildcats have seemed to of worn down the Cobras defense, they’re light in numbers with a lot of their kids going both ways. That long drive to open the half broke their spirit.

Kickoff here in a 30 minutes. This is the Wildcats 3rd appearance in the J. Allen Builders Bowl at Warren East HS, winning their previous two against Daviess County and Christian County. Whites Creek (TN) will be making their debut, a 3A program from our neighboring state who has finished below .500 the past two season. Hopefully the Wildcats can get one for the home state.
