What happened in pregame?

The KABC Titans Rockets Shootout is back for another year in Shelbyville, June 17-19. The tournament has grown each and every year. This year's event will feature 96 teams, mainly from Kentucky, but some from Florida and Ohio as well. Last year saw hundreds of college coaches show up to gyms in Shelbyville ranging from High D1 coaches like Bob Huggins and Juwan Howard, as well as many Division 2, Division 3, NAIA, and JUCO coaches as well. There will be two tournaments running across 6 gyms in Shelby County. Shelby County High School is currently under renovation so churches across the county will be used as well as middle schools and Collins High School. The 64 team tournament runs Friday to Sunday with the 32 team tournament on Saturday and Sunday. This weekend June 18-20, Martha Layne Collins High School and Shelby County High School will be hosting the 2021 Titans Rockets Summer Shootout. This is an NCAA Certified event that will feature 64 of the best teams and talent in the state as well as some top out of state teams from Ohio, Indiana, and Florida. Hundreds of college coaches from all levels are expected to be in Shelbyville this weekend as it is a live recruiting period for colleges.
