Not surprised at all with the Hawley situation, couldn’t make it at CAL, now there’s issues at Collins. You can’t force a kid to practice and play hard!!

Does anyone know why Collins forward Caleb Hawley wasn’t there tonight, heard parents say he quit the team this week.

Mabrey is a really nice player, future is bright for that kid!! Whitlock and Griffen are both really solid guards, have really been impressed with all 3 when I’ve seen them.

Shelby County really has hit rock bottom, unfortunately when a program loses that many kids over a few years, this is what happens, Kids are running to get out of that school, really sad.

Going to be more Jrs in 8th region getting serious D1 looks. I know a few that are getting offers and some that will soon.

Pitching looks like Shelby’s issue this year for sure, have to agree with you on that, might have them a little high. Should be a fun year.

How could I forget Travis Smith, yes that kid is Top 4 for sure!! Anyone else missing from list?

Their AD definitely has her work cut out for her, but these transfers are happening on her watch. Not sure what she can do but hope to see improvements.

I’m not even a Shelby County supporter and this situation really brothers me.

8th Region should be solid again this year and loaded with talent. Went to Simon Kenton for last years regional tournament and watched every single game and was blown away with the talent. North Oldham’s 9-6 win over Shelby County in the Championship has lots of excitement. Working on my top teams and players later on and will get this discussion started!!

Shelby has to change something to keep the kids that they have. If the athletic program don’t start promoting their athletes and programs, it will continue. Might be time to look for new AD!!

I don’t know what the issue is there but players are leaving, has to be something.

What has happened to that program over the years? I went over to Collins last night to scout the game and didn’t realize that their program has had that many players transfer. I started asking some people around me why and 90% of them said the same thing. Most all of them said that their school doesn’t promote their programs or their players, and that’s why the leave. I remember Shelby Co always being a top notch program and now they are struggling to keep players..
