Rebels’ alumnus Will Hatter has been named the new head football coach at Casey County High School. Will is a 2012 graduate of CCHS and a former two sport athlete that excelled on the gridiron and hardwood having played football and basketball.
Coach Hatter had previously served as the head coach for the JV football team and an assistant football coach to the varsity under head coaches Levi Rogers and Steve Stonebraker.
“Having grown through the ranks in Casey County as a player in youth, middle, and high school football, and his time as an assistant coach, Coach Hatter knows our program, players and community. He knows what being a Rebel means to Casey County, and he knows the game of football. We are excited to see a former player like Will step up to the next level and assume his new role as our head coach,” said CCHS athletics director Victor Black.
“I love our Casey County community, our high school and of course our football program. I look forward to working with our athletes to make them better players and members of our community,” said Hatter.
Coach Hatter earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Midway College and Master of Arts degree from the University of the Cumberlands. He is currently employed in the Casey Co. School District at the middle school and teaches special education.
Will currently resides in Liberty with his wife Shelby, their son Preston George, and they are expecting another son due in May.
Welcome head coach Will Hatter to the helm of Casey County Rebels Football!
