12/08 8th Grade Beechwood 30 @ Ballyshannon 38 Beechwood by 2 at half. Back and forth thru 3rd Quarter. Bally went up in 4th and held on by 8; good game. Bally’s bigs x 3 were not great in the first half but came alive in the 2nd half. Guard Ollier hit 2 x 3’s in the 2nd half and two FT late that we’re clutch. Beechwood was missing their starting PG Berger with an ankle injury. Two quality teams.

12/04 7th girls Turkeyfoot 30 Conner 34 Turkeyfoot had the game in hand with about 1:30 left in the 3rd. Then, a couple of costly turnovers, baskets made by Conner, and a few fouls and free throws made it a tie ball game. In the 4th, Turkeyfoot sped themselves up way too much and had difficulty scoring the ball and Conner hit a couple of 15' jumpers and additional free throws. Conner went up by about 8-9 and Turkeyfoot stormed back, but ran out of time and couldn't get any closer than 4 with time running out. Great game by both.
