Another week where Mother Nature robbed us of a ton of games, but we adjust and move forward. It does appear, at least as of this morning, that we won't get a #1 (SK) vs #2 (Cooper) game this year, which is a real shame. With that said, we do get a #2 (Cooper) vs #3 (Campbell Co.) game this week, on Tuesday, at Cooper, which should be very, very good. Big Congrats to Holy Cross for winning ANOTHER "All A Classic State Championship". Super impressive, and to have to knock of Owensboro Catholic on their home floor to do it made it even that much sweeter. With no game in the State Tournament closer than 12 points, and no seniors on their roster, it is hard to imagine the Indians won't be a huge factor again next year!! Coach Ted Arlinghaus is building an All A Dynasty in Latonia. Heads-up, they play Cooper on February 11th, for an early look at what we might see a few weeks later at NKU. Holy Cross wins the All A State Championship, their 3rd in 4 years, and 4th overall.

Final from Owensboro. Both NKY boys' teams fall in semis.

The other All A Classic semi goes according to script. HC will play O'Cath this afternoon for the All A Classic State Championship! Would be their 3rd in 4 years.

34th District seeding game goes to Red Colonels. Cru already has a win over Dixie and they play Lloyd on the 11th.

This one felt like a coin-flip going in, and played out about that way.

Two of the best teams in the state play a good game, and with Noel fouling out for the Jags, GRC wins by 11.

Sounds about like what we'd have thought based on their standings in the area, and WV has been in a bit of a Tail-Spin. Ryle has so much potential with Jones & McClain, plus a very solid supporting cast, and a coach who has accomplished far more than she gets credit for. 33rd will be two tough outs at NKU.

Hadley scoring like that is a real bonus for them, and with Smith, Shewmaker, Kramer, and Myers, you can only guard so many of them. Noelle is awesome, just not nearly enough around her. Like NewCath with Eaglin for years.

Great Crossing previously beat Scott by 19 and lost to Cooper by 28.

Final from Hebron! Camels led by Augsback (love her game!!) and Mullins! They are going to be a tough out, lots of weapons around Izzy.

Comfortably. Unless Coach Stamm allows them to look ahead to Sunday's double-dip for the All A State, I can't see how Scott stays within 15.

I will be shocked if that game is competitive, but I guess we shall see.

Notre Dame at Highlands tonight is the best local game of the evening; Mother Nature has really wreaked havoc on our schedules this week.
