Lucky for us up north here in NKY a strong weather front is pushing through and this will deflect Michael from making much of an impact up this way. Unfortunately it'll push it into the Carolinas, where they are still recovering from Florence. Luckily it'll pass through quickly and won't hover any landmass where it could do more serious flooding damage.
Ok I just thought the oline did what was needed. This offense needs a rhythm thrower (someone who can throw on set plays). It was clear tonight that they were relying on Wilson to do too much with his feet.
Wilson needs to be in a position where he has to take two or three steps back and release the ball. He needs to be a rhythm thrower. He doesn't have the accuracy to be a qb who can put one on a dime. I don't think he'll ever have that ability.
CJ Conrad should have had 6 to 7 catches in this one for like 60 yards.
They started out getting him the ball. What did he end up with? 3 receptions, 25 yards. Two of which were in the first quarter.
Yeah, but Woodson wasn't afraid to throw the ball. Wilson clearly is afraid. Hell, he's even afraid to throw the ball away.
This is why I say CJ Conrad has to get more touches. He'd open the middle of the field, especially since we don't have a true slot reciever.
3rd and 1. They were going to get the ball in Benny's hands. We call timeout. Wilson does what he did all night. He holds onto the ball in a situation where you can't take a sack.
Goodness gracious. How are we not getting smoked in this game? I honestly have no idea how it is tied because A&M has dominated offensively since the second quarter started.
