Talking with the last coaching staff before they were let go, they felt that this years team was going to better than last years and would have a chance at state. They knew they were going to be down last year and up a little bit this year. So we'll see what happens. But I would say the record will be close to what it was last year.

Word I heard this weekend is that is going to happen. Engineering is taking place now and hoping to get started asap. Take that with a grain of salt. Heard there is quite a bit of money going to be donated and seems like it will be enough to cover expenses. Main donor has been up on the hill with current topographic plans for about a month or more now reviewing the site. Hope it happens, but I also hope the school is around to enjoy it?

He did not let the junior high team get away. Low turnout was the reason, has nothing to do with who was coaching the varsity. The numbers began to dip when the Thunder came to existence drawing from the slim numbers that were already in place. At the time the junior high team folded they had 11 kids sign up and there were 9 teams in the area to choose from. Most of the teams have struggled with low numbers in recent years.
