  1. Spencer defense has watched some film. A couple nice plays that they knew were coming.
  2. Looks good to me. If we did tier rankings, I'd probably have the top 3 in tier 1, Graves in tier 2 by themselves and 5-10 in tier 3. A lot of teams with a lot of questions to be answered. It will definitely shake up as we inevitably will have players step up we didn't expect all around the Region.
  3. I know several of the players on McCracken and I like the attitude they are taking into this game. Now don't get me wrong, I know what's most likely inevitable in this one, but they really believe they are going to come out and surprise some people. Expect a lot of things probably not seen on game film. While it won't matter much playing the caliber of a team that Trinity is, the Mustangs aren't coming to just lay down. That's all you can want in a team in this position. Show up and battle, even though it's probably going to get ugly in a hurry. There's something to be said about giving all you have, even when you know it's not going to be enough. I've seen teams lay down in these games many times.
  4. Spencer County (7-5) | Tilghman (12-0) The Bears will make the nearly 3 1/2 hour trip to Paducah having won 6 of their last 7 games. On offense, Spencer County is run dominant, averaging around 175 yards a game on the ground. They only average in the 60's through the air. They will have to rely on ball control for their offense to keep them in it. Tilghman gets it done through the air at over 313 yards a game while also picking up 151 ypg on the ground. Shout out to Shep Esper, PT kicker who moved into 2nd place for consecutive made extra points who is now 93 for his last 93. He only trails Will Harris from Boyle County who made 108 in a row. Coach Thompson's son, Avery picked up an offer from Kentucky this week as well as an 8th grader, so the future is looking to be in good hands for Big Blue. Can Spencer control the clock with the ground game or does PT's offense apply enough pressure to pull away in another one?
  5. After losing the last 2 championship games in a row, 3rd time was the charm. Paducah Middle 8th grade are your D2 State Champions, defeating Boyle County 26-8. Avery Thompson also picked up an offer from Kentucky as an 8th grader and that's something you don't see a whole lot. He will definitely try to make a mark as a Freshman next season for PT.
  6. On October 6th, Henderson beat McCracken 56-28. Tonight, McCracken had heard enough about that one and decided to return the favor. McCracken led 35-7 at the half. Maddox O'Neal had 7 completions at the half, 5 of those were touchdowns. 3 of those went to Cooper Falconite.
  7. Tilghman led 7-0 after the 1st qtr and 35-7 at the half. The first time they met, PT got the running clock at 7:38 in the 3rd qtr, tonight they got it at 7:47 in the 3rd. That's how similar this was to the first matchup. PT moves on to Round 3.
  8. All the people here wearing shorts in the stands are really second guessing themselves right now. You can see it on their shivering faces.
  9. Same here. I know we are in the minority, but there's something about this type of game.
  10. What a lick by WE. Heck of a hit. PT timeout. :43 2nd qtr. Own 40.
