  1. The job posting ended on Friday. They have 80 applicants, narrowing it down to around 20. Hope to have someone in place by mid February.
  2. I read this on twitter- what else do you think? Kirby Smart said what he learned most from Nick Saban: "Holding everybody's feet to the fire, holding everybody accountable, and that goes for every single meeting, every single drill, every single practice and every single day,"
  3. The rumors have been out there all year. According to his all state selection overview in the CJ he already has multiple scholarship offers so I don't think he is moving to T for more publicity. I think the move could be more part of his affiliation with Aspirations Fitness. Chris Vaughn seems to be very influential in getting kids scholarships.
  4. Potential search committee Mike Glaser- former coach, bleeds green and gold Chad O'Shea- Patriots WR coach and X Alum. He is a little busy right now, but I would ask him what he would look for in a coach. Chris Brown- author of "Smart Football" and X Alum. He said on Twitter he would like to be on the search committee. He has a ton of national contacts. Charles Walker- UK player Bernard Jackson- X Alum, former UT player and Washington Redskin player Who else???
  5. Coach Wolford just announced to the team that he has resigned.
  6. We can complain all we want about Trinity taking transfers/recruiting kids, but the fact is we can't control anything Trinity does. All we can control is what we do. It's time for the St X President, AD, coaches, and players to take a hard look at where we are as a program. We are a very solid program. Trinity is on a different level than any other team in the state. Do we want to be there? Are we doing all we can do to compete? Do we have the right schemes on offense and defense? Are we in the best shape? These are just a few questions that need to be asked.
  7. One of the Rock's all time great's, Andy Murray, has a son on the SK team. Sam is a WR and nice tough player. I dobn't think they will be able to run the ball against the Rock's and not sure about passing it either.
  8. That stinks, hate to see any kid get injured any year- but especially senior year- like Roshkowski last year and Metzmeier this year for X.
  9. Trinity's seniors may be few but most contribute- QB- Bohn, WR- Strothman, WR- Bailey #13, C- Sears, OT- Murray, NG-Auxier, LB-Hull, LB-Cardosi, DE-Ruckreigel, DE-McDuffie, LB-Dissel, DB-Jones- all these kids played a significant part in the victory.
  10. I think Trinity runs the same plays, but they do it out of 30 formations, with motion, tempo, etc. that give them different looks.
  11. I just watched the film from last night and I think it is more than just offensive and defensive scheme. THS plays with an edge on every play. Not sure that we have that all the time or from everyone. Dingle consistently will fly into the pile and try to lay out the runner. On kickoffs #55 was a complete psycho blowing up the wedge. Many more examples of other kids. That is the edge you need in football in my opinion.
  12. I heard today that the Wood kid transferred to KCD. Seems odd to me.
