Cov Cath got a break in the blind draw for soccer last fall, opposite of St. X. They didn't meet until the title game, which the Tigers won. The KHSAA made a windfall on an 11:00 am Wednesday game between arguably the top two teams. I don't think they're in a hurry to change things when this can happen. As a Colonels fan, of course I would have liked a Saturday night game. I also wish 9th Region tourney MVP Cash Harney didn't have to leave the game with a back injury and about ten minutes to play. I'm not anti-seeding, but it is what it is. I get it. It stings a little. Great season; tough ending. Next year . . .
