  1. I'll take CAL. They've beat Ballard twice but won't be easy since tough to beat a team 3 times.
  2. The most exciting part of the season has arrived, and the district tournaments will set up what should be a great 7th Region tournament. The 25th District consists of Central, Manual, Portland Christian, Shawnee, and Francis Parker. Manual should coast through this district, and most likely Central moves on to the region tournament barring an upset as Central beat Shawnee in the regular season 62-49. Host school: Manual Francis Parker (8-17) vs. Portland Christian (3-24) on 2/26. Manual (25-4) vs winner of Francis Parker/Portland Christian on 2/27. Central (6-15) vs. Shawnee (14-12) on 2/27. Championship on 2/29. The 26th District consists of Brown, Collegiate, Male, and Saint Xavier. Male and St. X should coast into the 7th region tournament with which one is the District Champ to be determined. Host school: Saint Xavier Saint Xavier (27-3) vs. Brown (7-23) on 2/27. Male (21-9) vs. Collegiate (11-18) on 2/27. Championship on 2/29. The 27th District consists of Atherton, Seneca, Trinity, and Waggener. Trinity should coast into 7th Region tournament, and the Seneca vs. Atherton game being competitive as Atherton beat Seneca 67-65 in regular season. Host School: Trinity Trinity (21-7) vs. Waggener (9-15) on 2/27 Atherton (15-11) vs. Seneca (14-14) on 2/27 Championship on 2/29. The 28th District consists of Ballard, Christian Academy-Louisville, Eastern, and KY Country Day. Of the four districts, this one is the most competitive and any of the four teams could be the two that move onto the 7th Region tournament. CAL went 3-1 in the district but has a tough Ballard team in the first round. Eastern will have to get through KCD who they lost to 51-47 in the regular season. Host school: Eastern Christian Academy-Louisville (16-11) vs. Ballard (13-14) on 2/26 Eastern (20-9) vs KY Country Day (18-9) on 2/26. Championship is on 2/28.
  3. Tigers were down one at halftime but outscored Seneca by 19 in 3rd quarter and rolled from there. St. X depth wore Seneca down. QuelRon House for Seneca was honored before the game for being 1,000 pt scorer and scored a lot in this game. He looks like a player of the year candidate in the 7th Region.
  4. North Hardin makes more sense than Meade County.
  5. This past week Trinity lost to Jeffersontown 62-58 but were playing without all-region caliber player Andrae Vasser who I assume is injured since missed a couple games before this one. Saint Xavier went 3-0 this week and their offense continues to put up points scoring 80+ points in all three wins. Manual has looked very good going 2-0 and beating rival Male in impressive fashion 70-46 and were led by Justice Decker's 19 pts and 13 rebounds. Christian Academy-Louisville went 2-0 and had a big win over KCD 91-56. One last week of play left then the post season where it will get very interesting. 1. Trinity (20-6) 2. Saint Xavier (25-3) 3. Manual (23-3) 4. Male (19-9) 5. Christian Academy - Louisville (15-11) 6. Ballard (12-13) 7. Eastern (19-8) 8. Seneca (13-13) 9. Atherton (14-11) 10. KY Country Day (16-9) 11. Central (4-15) 12. Highlands Latin (20-8) 13. Waggener (8-14) 14. Shawnee (13-11) 15. Collegiate (11-15) 16. Francis Parker (6-15) 17. Brown (7-19) 18. Portland Christian (3-22)
  6. St. X has only lost to one Kentucky team and that's Trinity but have had many close games so the 2nd tier you listed them in is ok.
  7. Didn't expect a beat down in this game. Manual going to be tough out in 7th Region Tournament.
