Great post LB13. Great info but I think the top 3 teams are Boone, Ryle and NCC in that order also. I think that is the best 3 seasoned pitchers which goes along way in NKY. JMHO.

It was senior night at Cooper and they do a fantastic job honoring their seniors. Well as far as the game goes Yake pitched a good game keeping Cooper off balance and the Dixie offense was lead by McGinn going deep twice and Feilds hitting a double clearing the bases. It was also a nice touch for Cooper to honor the 3 Dixie seniors.

Poor girl has been snake bitten by the injury bug the last year.

I did hear at Dixie today that Haley Coffey could possibly be out for the season? Can anyone confirm this? That would be a shame for her.

This game did indeed get played this morning at Dixie and Boone wins 5-4 in 8 innings. They went to the international tie breaker right away and Boone was able to hold OH runner at second in the top half of the inning and win it in the bottom half on a wild pitch. Boone trailed this one the whole game but kept it close and tied it in the bottom of 7th and obviously won it in the eighth. I do have to say that Oak Hills first baseman hit a home run that I think might need a flight attendant on it... Wow.

I think the colonels will be fine over time. Quite a few of the newcomers looked over matched in the batters box but I thought they played pretty well for 4 innings defensively. That was when the birds seen Yake for the 3rd time and started to hit her pretty good and a few errors assisted the hard hitting birds and they opened it up from there. Spencer pitched well and their defense was solid as always when balls were in play. I do have to say that Graybills HR was a laser to right center and Dutcher came up clutch as well when it was put on her. Should be some fun games to watch Saturday at Dixie if the weather holds off.

Any word on the coaching position or is Hicks just finishing the year and then going into the process to find a new one?

That's a big win. Who pitched Henry or Jones for Conner? I think they are going to have a nice 1 2 punch for next several years with those 2.

I was told the umpire crew was very questionable at best in the one... Not one way or the other but just overall.

You can't take much from the games this week. Still cold and wet. Just hope everyone comes out injury free in conditions like this week so far.

Congrats to Andy and the young lady rebels. Had to be a tough time just dealing with the weather last night.

3-2 final bottom of 7th. 2 clutch 2 out hits. Miller tying hit and scored the game winner from first on a double by the 3 hitter for Campbell. Sorry I'm not sure of her name.

Nice to hear that about Greybill. I hope she is starting to get her legs underneath her and healthy. She is fun to watch when swinging a healthy bat.

Thanks for the info. Probably going to try and make a couple of these games. The Pete Noll is being held at river city correct?
